America's favorite all-day, everyday stop for coffee, espresso, breakfast sandwiches and donuts. Stop by or order ahead with the Dunkin' App.
There are many SubWays in Plattsburgh. I frequent the Cornelia Street Subway near Karma and across from McDonalds as the people are long timers and are very friendly, fast an efficient in making the subs. VERY clean place and the veggies and breads are always fresh. LOVE this place. Also the Route 3 Subway across from the Honda dealer and next to Dunkin Donuts up by the Military Turnpike is the same...clean, friendly and efficient for the most part. The Subway in the mall is ok and there's a new one down at the bottom of Boynton Avenue Hill near the lake and GP Mill that has only been there about three months that I have not been to yet. Great bang for the buck and healthier than most fast foods around.
So many of us equate Subway with sandwiches. Attention, there's a new sheriff in town! It's Subway's chopped salads. With about six different meat selections and your choice of veggies and dressings, you can get a salad that rivals most sit-down restaurant ones. The average price of one of their made-to-order salads is about $6 (cheaper than most of their subs and also low in carbs depending on the dressing you choose). Yesterday's salad was a great break from the usual sub or sandwich and tasted delicious. Although most of the other fast food places offer salads these days, one never knows when they were made or how long they have been sitting in the cooler. Not so at Subway! You order it and it's made fresh in front of you according to your directions. Conveniently located inside the Plattsburgh Walmart, it's easy enough to pick up a chopped salad to go or chow down in their clean and pleasant dining area.

We've been here a few times and it never disappoints. Fresh breads and toppings, fast and attentive service, reasonable prices! The French bread sub roll is fantastic -- we love it with the Zuke's Special, a tasty combination of warm turkey, ham and cheese, topped with Cole slaw and Russian dressing. Really, it's an incredible flavor punch. The place is simple, mainly for takeout with a few tables and chairs. It's off the beaten path, tucked away on a neighborhood corner. Still, it's a great place for a quick, fresh sandwich, salad or soup.

First time visiting....but i had done my research and googled the menu numerous times....2 sides sounded intriguing...mashed potato casserole and fried okra...We ordered a rib plate with fried okra and mac n cheese and a brisket plate with creamy cole slaw and mashed potato casserole. Ribs a hit, mac n cheese a hit! We really liked the fried okra, super crunchy and not oily at all. I could eat the mashed potato casserole all day....The only thing that we were kind of disappointed in was the brisket...maybe because it was all chopped up! But with the addition of their original bbq sauce...it was a winner. The place is a bit of a dive....butin an okay way. Staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is not on the main street but just across the street from Hobby Lobby. My new go to when I go to Plattsburgh NY

We stopped here for the famous 'Michigan', with fries on the side. As the previous reviews have stated many times over, the place is a relatively small shack that looks like it is falling down. The waitress will come out to your car to take your order, or you can eat inside at the counter with stools. The chili dog was very good, the fries average. The place has plenty of character, perhaps just a bit too much for my taste, since the doors are left wide open and a mouse or mole or something in that family ran in while we were eating. If you don't dwell on the little four legged creature, it was a fun experience with a good chili dog. Unfortunately, I don't think I would go back, since I prefer my food without the unsolicited entertainment.

Clare and Carl's is my favorite restaurant for the North Country Michigan Red Hots. They are only open during the summer months June Thru the beginning of Sept. The building is slowly sinking into the ground but don't let the looks of the building fool you. Savory hot dogs piled with a special sauce, onions and mustard. A little spicy so take some Tums along if you stomach is a little on the weak side. Other foods served but the Red Hots are the way to go.
