The municipality comprises the town of Overijse, and the communities of Eizer, Maleizen, Jezus-Eik, Tombeek and Terlanen. On December 31, 2008, Overijse had a total population of 24,410. The total area is 44.43 km² which gives a population density of 549 inhabitants per km². Overijse is surrounded by an extensive woodlands (Zoniënwoud/Forêt de Soignes), with walk- and bicycle paths. The community is regarded as a very attractive area in which to live.

What else to say..... this fritkot proposes the best fries. You will for sure enjoy it.The service is fast and efficient. ... however be careful on friday evenings, the queue can be quite long as all locale will come to get a précieuse bague of fries.I would recommend this experience to anyone!

For some years La Hulpe was without a Friterie, then Thib opened at the station, sadly it got moved on to its current location which strictly speaking is in Genval. It has plenty of space to sit outside in good weather, and plenty of parking at the Mazzarine. Portions are generous and the frittes are delicious and melt in the mouth. If you can think of something you shouldn't be eating you'll proably find it there.

So this is a fast food restaurant where they have the food you can expect from a fast food restaurant. It's really good. Our group counted 5 people and though there were people there before us, we were served really fast (+/- 10 minutes). The food tasted good. The place is nice and clean. Great to get a fast bite!
