I was out visiting friends. Afterward I needed a quick vegetarian restaurant. I felt comfortable eating here by myself. Loved the fact that I could get an entire bowl of vegetarian goodness. This was a clean restaurant and everyone there was super friendly and helpful. I left here full and satisfied. I can't wait to go to the one closer to me and bring some friends.

In the Orland Park area and need a good, fast lunch? Stop at Pop's Italian Beef. The food is good and inexpensive. The beef sandwich is flavorful and filling. The pizza puffs are greasy, but that makes it even better. Not big on atmosphere, but it's fast food.

Freddy's is one of the upper tier hamburger places, certainly a cut above McDonald's, Burger King or Wendy's, more at the 5 Guy level. The original double steakburger is outstanding, with its standard cheese, mustard, onion & pickle on a toasted bun - but, you can request it anyway you desire. The fries are of the string type, somewhat like Steak-n-Shake, but I think better. Another great choice is the Chicago Dog - with mustard, relish, onion, sport peppers, celery salt, tomato & pickle. The atmosphere is interesting, with an open sorta industrial style, but relaxing, colorful, and surprisingly pleasing. The staff is friendly, and the place is immaculately clean. If you're looking for a slightly upscale "burger joint" this is it, and I recommend it over 5 Guys.

The staff was friendly and informative, the location not the easiest to enter. The sandwiches are priced like most sub restaurants with your choice of toppings and they were good just not special. One good thing is they have a better variety of breads and fresh ingredients (per the staff) i could not taste the difference from other sub shop offerings.Nothing bad just nothing to make it stand out.

Stopped at Smallcakes to purchase a half dozen regular size cupcakes. They sell regular size cupcakes and ice cream. They also sell cakes and mini-cupcakes but both need to be preordered. I have never had such delicious cupcakes. There are SO many wonderful flavors to choose from like Wedding Cake (Almond Cupcake and frosting), Chocolate Ãclair, Cookies and Cream, and Peanut Butter just to mention a few.
