Find out what Fast Food restaurants to try in Nuremberg. With half a million people, Nuremberg is Bavaria's second largest city. While its history dates to the 11th century, Nuremberg is most often linked to the 20th century (specifically World War II). It first served as the site of many pre-war Nazi rallies, then was nearly leveled by Allied bombing, then was the site of the famous post-war Nuremberg Trials. The city has much to offer today's visitors, including the rebuilt Nuremberg Castle and the world-famous gingerbread at Hauptmarkt. Hansel and Gretel would have loved this place.

Handcrafted Burger & Fries Fresh, tasty and handmade with love
Great burger gem in Nuremberg's old town! As the name suggests, Plain Vanilla focuses on simplicity, yet they offer sustainably prepared food at very reasonable prices. They have a handful of burgers to choose from, two of which are veggie burgers! One of the veggie burgers has a delicious, homemade veggie patty made from organic grains and vegetables, which I definitely recommend! Both the fries and burgers are handmade and come with all kinds of fresh and locally-grown ingredients, including caramelized onions and a variety of homemade sauces. If you're looking for a quick, affordable and flavorful burger in Nuremberg's city center, this is the place to go!Thank you very much for your great feedback, we´re happy you enjoyed our burgers and would love to welcome you again!

Stumbled across this restaurant/bar whilst looking for a bar for a few drinks. The atmosphere was really funky with all of the bamboo trees throughout and it was a chilled, ambient environment with really friendly staff. Loved the mats on the tables so much so we renamed the bar âcarpet tile barâ

The location is about 3/4 block off the Koenigstrasse, conveniently next to what appears to be a somewhat camouflaged strip joint. The staff spoke English and was very helpful. You order what you want from a limited menu and grab a drink out of a cooler. You eat on umbrella-shielded picnic tables outside. I ordered the Currywurst with fries. It was good; essentially two brats smothered in what could be described as a salsa-like red sauce with a healthy infusion of curry. The strong flavor of the sauce overwhelms the very good brats, but that's what it's supposed to do, I guess. The Currywurst was pretty good and very filling, the generous helpings of fries were very good. This meal was an especially good value.
