Artigianal Sicilian food(rosticceria Palermitana)
HUGE lovely arancini - our favourites were the ragu and pistachio ones. Freshly cooked to order. Definitely not one to miss!

So, at this place you can find arancini (with ragu, ham and mozzarella, squid ink with calamari, spinach and ricotta etc....), calzoni with horse meat and lots of other delights like pizzette. On this occasion we got 4 arancini, 2 calzoni, 1 beer and a fizzy drink, it was all truly delicious and came to a total of â¬10! The owner was incredibly kind, there were tables and chairs to sit outside, the food was outstanding and the prices are very reasonable. It's seemed like a very relaxed place, I would recommend it to anybody who needs a quick bite to eat and a taste of real local Sicilian food.
We were walking on the street and stoped in front of this pizzeria because we were hungry. From outside is not inviting but once we came in we were surprised by the traffic inside. There were many locals entering and ordering pizza to take away and the phone was ringing non stop for orders. The walls were covered with certificates of awards won by the main pizza guy to various championships. The pizza was very good! I dare to say it was one of the best pizza I ever ate!
