I have travelled all over the world and it is hard to find anywhere that provides good food consistantly every visit. I Highly Recommend this Chinese Takeaway if you like good quantity added to authentic flavour at a reasonable price also, this is the place for you. The chicken and sweetcorn soup is Brilliant as is any of the Salt & Pepper or Salt, Pepper and Chilli dishes, other places make the mistake of making them overly hot, here it is flovoursome and they will make a dish more or less hot as required, but I advise against this as it will mess with a great taste. Highly Recommended to anyone with taste buds.

I was recommended this place by a friend last week so thought we would give it a go. Phoned up around 9.15pm Fri night the man on the phone was very pleasant. We ordered a 14" seafood pizza stuffed mushrooms and garlic potatoes. The food arrived around 10pm by what I presumed to be the same polite man. The food was piping hot aswell. The pizza was the best I've ever ordered in Lancaster and the garlic potatoes were really tasty. I don't think I will be ordering pizza from anywhere else in the future. Definitely recommend this place, just can't believe I didn't know about it sooner. Thanks again for great food and great service. We will be back.

We love this takeaway, and the prompt delivery service. Try the ribs. They're amazing. It seems to have changed hands a few times, but is invariably very good.

Regular visitors to atkinsons and cannot fault the food in the cafe section when eating in,We love fish and chips served fresh and I rate this chippy as the second best in the area, staff are attentive and polite and food is always fresh,We have only once had a takeaway from this chippy but found that the chips and fish were a bit soggy when we got home after being in the polystyrene carton for ten minutes, so go in the cafe sit down and enjoy them fresh and crispy !!

The food here is good. Always freshly made so you may wait a few minutes but definitely worth it. There is a small selection Chinese food available too. The shop is very clean. The staff very friendly.

Driving along the promenade at Morecambe we were treated to the most spectacular views of the Cumbrian Mountains across Morecambe Bay - they looked blue in the distance. Our son was happy hitting Pokestops and new Pokemon along the way. We had been parked near the fountains at Sandylands Promenade and watched a chap feeding the pigeons with two massive sacks of seed. This was obviously a regular occurrence and it was lovely to watch. We then had to dash to the West End part of the prom to catch a Feraligatr. Happy Mount Park proved to be a popular place to catch Cyndaquil. I hope you are still with me on this one! We then reluctantly started heading for home. Our tummies were rumbling a little and as we were heading for Lancaster we spotted a sign on a grass verge. Set back from the road was a little chippy. This chippy is well worth a visit even if it means a little detour! They are open at lunch and teatime and provide visitors with a traditional British chippy menu. The fish and chips are cooked to order. I regretted not having the fish after I saw them being parcelled up, they looked impressive. The place is spotless. The chips alone are worth a visit. The couple who were in there (I think this is a husband and wife team) made everyone welcome, no matter if you were a regular or a newcomer. Next time will be fish for us all and we will plan our trip so that we arrive at lunchtime and take our chippy picnic onto the promenade! We felt truly blessed to have had such a day on the coast and to find the Troutbeck Chippy on our way home was a memory in the making. Although son remembers the awesome Pokemon and the generous Pokestops, I am sure that the brilliant chippy tea on the way home will also be logged and we would recommend this chippy to everyone.Thank you so much for the amazing review of our little chippy. We're so glad you enjoyed your day and of course your chips. Glad you also got your Pokemon!

Usually I don't go overboard when reviewing eating establishments but I feel I must where Blackburn's are concerned, I live a few miles away in Heysham and make a special journey just to dine here for lunch every week and have for decades.The owner is a revelation, extremely friendly and has so much knowledge about the town for day trippers and those unsure whilst holidaying in the area.The customer service you receive is second to none and then you come to the food that's cooked fresh to order, my personal choice is Fish, chips, peas and gravy, served with Bread & Butter and tartare sauce along with a decent cup of Tea, very consistent in both quality & quantity.It's TOP marks from me!

We have visited here several times and always found the food good. We visited last week for the first time in a few months, I ordered the same dish as I always do and it was disappointing to see that the quality of the food had changed somewhat and the meat appears of much less quality as previous visits. I'll not be rushing back.

Best chippy in the local area. Very accommodating with gluten free orders. Telephoned through our requirements and collected at agreed time. Plenty of chips and massive piece of pure white fish, coated in gluten free batter. Piping hot and wrapped up well for taking away. Staff are all friendly and smiling. Nothing is too much trouble. Picked Atkinsonâs for our last dinner in the UK - you haberdashery to have fish n chips at the seaside! Nice fish, well cooked and not greasy. Pies and scampi also nice and the chips were excellent. A very enjoyable meal.
