Even though delivery was slow (Friday night) it was 100% worth the wait, the pizza was piping hot and so fresh, the delivery guy was lovely, donât be put off by it being a little slow, you wonât be disappointed, never been so happy with a pizza takeaway! And the wedges... AMAZING!!! Will order again
Firstly i had waited over an hour for our food! When it had finally arrived we are greeted by the delivery man who is spitting outside our door step! They forgot the sauces we ordered and the food was pretty cold and the pizza looked like cardboard!I rang them and after telling the man all of this he then starts shouting at me!! This is unacceptable he is meant to rectify this but I don't think they know what customer service is! We went to pizza 2night next to it! Much better I recommend there instead!!!
Eddie's is one of the best kebab takeaways in the area, the food is always fresh and the staff always polite, prices are good too, always good for the occasions when you get home late and don' t want to cook
We have used this fish and chip shop for years and have never had a bad meal yet. The food is cooked fresh to order so always hot and good portion size and well priced.

There is a distinct lack of good Chinese takeaways in Margate, most of them are so awful we threw away the entire meal.New Shanghai is certainly better than most others we have tried, and is edible, but it is not consistent across all dishes. The lady taking the orders is super friendly and polite, so I cannot fault the service. The crispy chilli beef was amazing, the best I have had so far, it was very crispy and not chewy and spicy. The beef in black bean sauce, on the other hand, was not good. The sauce was very bland and just had a few beans mixed in, rather than the thick, strong black sauce you would expect. And the beef was awful, chewy, just tasted like the cheapest piece of fry steak. We removed all the meat and just ate the veg.The chicken curry was nice, they actually gave me the choice of hot or milk, which I have never had before, so I chose hot, and it was actually hot.The kung po was just MEH, the sauce was nice but the pork wasn't. I probably would have liked it more with Chicken or just veg.The chicken balls were also a bit MEH. My kids normally love chicken balls, but not bothered this time. I think the batter was just too thick and spongey, it needs to be thinner and crispier.Another plus is the heat levels. I like spicy food, but I never find any Chinese food spicy unless I cook it myself. But at New Shanghai all the dishes which said hot did actually have some kick to them, which was nice.We will be giving them another try to test out a few more dishes. But the ones we had this time were our favourites, so that was a bit disappointing. If we could mix New Shanghai with Pagoda, that would be perfect I think.

Sombre trip to Margate to visit a terminally-ill close friend and ex-work colleague. Stopped off at this venue, randomly, and telephoned the family asking if they wanted anything........ironically, this turned out to be their favourite Fish and Chip shop in the area. The best compliment I can give to this place, is that upon arrival, and having not been able to eat for days, the friend was delighted to eat some of their Chips and Fish - and it was, indeed, very good.Excellent varied menu - exceptionally low prices (when comparing to London and Surrey) - a Medium Rock is larger than a Large Rock plus only 4 pounds. Also note that a Kid's Cod is as large as most adult sized portions in the Surrey/London area. Two friendly British/Cypriot brothers running this place - so 'thank you' to them, for cooking up high quality food and thus, (inadvertently), bringing some pleasure and respite to a person in a terrible scenario.Cheers fellas.

We were blown away at how good the Prawn PoâBoy was! Such a unique combination that worked! It was a large portion as well. My husband got the scallop PoâBoy and said it was really good as well. Highly recommend this little seaside place! Craving it now!
