I only live in the area on the occasional weekend and if I'm in the mood for an Indian meal I always phone these guys. I'm trying to stay away from bread and rich sauces etc so I usually order the Tandoori mix with a couple of poppadoms.Delivered within the hour by cheery drivers and the food is delicious.

I used to go to this chippie quite a lot as it was really good but recently things not so good. Batter is so hard it is difficult to bite into. Chips are good though and not at all greasy. Service is good and you never have to wait long. I always ask for what's ready, maybe that's the problem as you don't really know how long stuff has been sitting!

Have ordered many times from here and is normally great. Quite an extensive menu for a takeaway and many early specials. The food is very good and many of our friends have now used them. The portions are extremely generous so be hungry or show restraint when ordering. Best in the area in our opinion

Firstly, it's in a good position with a fabulous view, and some outside tables to enjoy it. Secondly,with a bit more support from its management (as, also, from those who are on Leven's Council) this once busy town (and a popular holiday destination, in earlier times) would benefit all.When the Pits closed, its formerly warm-hearted community was severely damaged because, everywhere are the signs of a sad decline.The 100th Monkey effect could do wonders, if all the shops and cafes upped their game.But, give the Beach Snack bar a chance; support it, make your comments, and who knows what might happen?
