Carter's Fried Chicken in Lee County is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always fresh in the services vantastic. I usually just stop by and pick it up is very quick through the drive-thru service. All their sides are especially tasty.

2. Waffle House

We've eaten at a lot of Waffle Houses on road trips over the years. Some have been great, some have been disgusting. This one falls somewhere in the lower middle. The service was very poor. We had to remind the waitress about a couple of things we ordered but didn't receive. She was not friendly or attentive. My son ordered chocolate milk. The waitress poured it from a carton into a glass filled with ice. (He did not order it over ice.) It was very spoiled. The floors were not clean. Two servers were arguing with each other for quite a while. The bathrooms were horribly filthy. There were only two other tables occupied while we were there--and still, our service was very slow.

First time I have been to the chain. It is like the other main fast food places except u r given a number and collect 5 minutes after ordering. Mainly chicken menu but great choicesStaff friendly and good for fast food
