Find out what Fast Food restaurants to try in La Paz. Sitting in a valley in the Andes Mountains, La Paz is the city that touches the clouds. The de facto capital of Bolivia, and sitting between 3300 and 4100 meters above sea level, La Paz is the highest capital city in the world. Rich with 19th century churches, museums of artifacts from the pre-Conquest era, precarious overlooks, and colorful markets, La Paz is truly unique. The Witches’ Market, in the center of the city, sells charms and potions for Aymara rituals, as well as souvenirs.

Go Green is the first veggie & vegan fast food restaurant in Bolivia. We are located in the heart of Sopocachi, the bohemian quarter in La Paz city. The menu includes quinoa, chickpea and black bean hamburguers, chickpea nuggets, panini sandwiches and sal
We decided to try the lunch menu: for 30 bolivianos there was a small beet soup, a choice of regular portion of either hamburger, nuggets or panini, plus as a drink an ice tea or a virgin horchata (mexican rice and cinnamon drink).Having food allergies, I had very few optiobs without gluten, only the nuggets were fit. The meal consisted of the soup (wich they brought with bread and topped with nachos crumbs, containing gluten, despite my explanations). Then six nuggets and potato fries (didn't seem homemade). The nuggets were heavy and fat, not interesting taste wise or nutrition wise (chickpeas). This is probably fitted as comfort food when you want a vegan version of fast food. Otherwise it really lacks vegetables: you can choose between fries and salad as a side, but they won't allow half salad half fries. The staff was nice but they didn't seem to know exactly what was in the food. They were kind enough to accept to use a different sauce with the nuggets. The complementary mate is a good effort, as well as the free wifi and the place is clean and agreeable. For bolivian prices, it could be better and bigger portions. I have had much healthier, cheaper and tastier food in La Paz. Still worth a try for those craving fast food. Hello Marion,Thanks for your visit. I can understand your dissatisfaction due to your allergies, If you come back I recommend you to have one of our big salads (healthy and gluten free). Our menu was designed to be a guilty pleasure...a veggie Fast Food Restaurant, and thats what we proudly are. About the chickpea nuggets, they are our invention and we produce them by hand.Hope you come back :) Good trip

We went to the Factory with family and friends. It has a great sports bar environment. We had some wings, then burgers and fries, with a beer or two. The food was tasty. The environment was plenty lively with both foreigners and locals enjoying their night out. After a month in Bolivia, my wife was ready for a good old burger and fries dinner. This was just the ticket.
We invite you to taste an excellent specialty coffee, in an atmosphere that will transport you to old town house of "La Paz" We offer an organic height coffee, type Bourbon Criollo, produced in the warm lands of the Yungas north of the city of La Paz grow
We loved this café in La Paz! We were visiting from Portland, Oregon USA (a huge coffee city) earlier this month and this was definitely the best coffee we had in our travels through both Peru and Bolivia. Unfortunately when we arrived at the café we weren't hungry because the Australian man sitting next to us ordered an amazing looking sandwich which he said was delicious. The owner took great pride in his coffee and the service was outstanding. Wish we would have had time to go back for a second visit. The place is darling on the inside and out (in a cute little alley), extremely clean, and provides free wifi. We appreciate your visit and we appreciate that you enjoyed the coffee, we are waiting for you on your next visit to the city.

Gourmet Burgers and Fries, and one of the largest crafted beers collections in town. Great decoration that mimics the inside of an old craft brewery, unique music selection and cable TV for sports.
When I heard about this place I was so excited. I entered the main room and was impressed with decorations. I came in with crutches and sat down and was then told I had to get up and make an order at the counter. They're really happy with their big screen computer at the counter but, all in all, the lack of service staff at a place like this in La Paz is big down side. The second big strike is that Beer they so tout with their name is disappointing. Only two beers were on tap and one of them was Paceña. I'd recommend this if you have some time and are curious - otherwise, just stick to a place like Factory.

One could easily mistake this mini sushi bar for an easy-to-miss average food stall; however, it is a surprisingly delicious experience in the Zona Sur of La Paz. Fresh and finely selected ingredients, flavorful taste combinations, meticulous preparation and friendly yet efficient attention combine to make this a standout, and perhaps the best sushi experience a diner can have in Bolivia. Rolls are prepared on the spot in the small kitchen/bar area, so do expect to wait..... but so very worth it!

Saltena the secret snack of La Paz. They are made early dispensed to street sellers or sit down establishments like Pacena La Saltena. If you arrive mid morning the Saltena's may all be gone. They are loved and worth it. Inexpensive. Bursting with flavor. When in La Paz you must have Saltena's or you will have missed an important part of the city culture.
