Called in this busy chippy for lunch which has a good menu and different sizes of fish. There is a small dining area and they also do take a ways. Very clean and presentable and wheelchair access. We were very satisfied with our meal and all at a good price. We like this place as long as the weather is decent, a decent cuppa served with your butty which is cooked fresh, if it's busy a little bit of a wait but no problems. A motor bike bolt hole, very popular. Decent service with good basic scran at a reasonable price.

It took an unusually long time to make a simple takeaway order when it wasn't busy, and when the food was ready, it wasn't that good. Salt and pepper ribs were so overdone, what meat there was on the ribs was like leather. Salt and pepper beef was slightly better, but light on the seasoning. Szechuan special mix was ok, although it didn't seem to be Szechuan sauce, more of a smoky ok sauce. It was nice enough, and had I wanted that kind of sauce I'd be pretty happy with it, but I ordered Szechuan and Szechuan it certainly wasn't! All the meat in the mix was good apart from the char Sui pork which was flab And fat. The chips were average Chinese chips.
