Home of the award-winning Galley Boy! Friendly curb runners serving up fresh, never-frozen burgers, shakes, & crispy extras since 1934!
This fun drive in has the guys running to your car to take your order. They are famous for their burgers, fries and milkshakes. Especially the Galley Boy with 2 special sauces. The spicy tatter teasers are the bomb! They are open year round but closed on all major holidays. You can call ahead or just pull in turn on your lights & order. Over all the food was really good, felt it could have been warmer. Itâs a must if you are in this area!

Buffalo Wild Wings is known for its great wings, but did you know they serve really great burgers too? Well, I just made this discovery while here in Kent, OH. My burger was hot, juicy, and not from being greasy either. I was pleasingly surprised. Now I'm going to have to compare this burger with the ones in my neighborhood Buffalo Wild Wings. It's always a great venue for catching and viewing sports and the atmosphere is always pleasing in these establishments. I was not disappointed at this location at all. Being in a college town environment, this was really a great place to dine.

We were surprised to find a drive up A&W, like we used to go to in the 70's. We decided to try it, and had a great time! The waitress was friendly & fun. We both ordered Coney dogs and onion rings - what we remember from 40 years ago and both were delicious, as was the A&W root beer served in a big glass mug. It was fun to sit in the car with the food tray on the window and just enjoy memories of the past! We will definitely return!
What to do and see in Kent, United States: The Best Places and Tips
My wife and I ordered the Philly, her's with provolone, mine with cheese wiz. Both were the best we've ever had. The steak was perfectly seasoned, and nearly melted in my mouth. The bread was fresh, and the onions, peppers, and cheese were generous. The fries were freshly cut and made with our order. Perfect as well. Portions were generous. The dining area is reminiscent of a big-city eatery. It's narrow, with booth seating, and sparse decoration - appropriate for this quick-bite-to-eat-type place. Clean as well. Highly recommended.

Looking at the reviews:) And what I heard from locals, we stopped for ice cream:) Our expectations fail way short:( We ordered two sundae's:) One chocolate and the other a brownie:) Both came the same way. The brownie came packed by itself, and it was stone cold hard. The ice cream came in a styrofoam dixie like cup. The ice cream wasn't even to the top of the cup and really didn't look much more than 1/2 a scoop. It was simply poorly done and NOT worth the nearly $3.00:( Wait time for this little cup of ice cream was way to long on a non-busy day:( Quality of the ice cream was average at best:(Hi there,We are sorry to hear that your visit to our North Akron location left you disappointed.
