Whenever you need a quickie snack, roll on to Red Apple. Their chicken rolls and beef rolls with lots of chutney are still amazing! Tip: make sure you order the rolls "sulemani" (without sauces inside) - this way you ensure they give you freshly-made rolls and not re-cycled stuff. Just get the sauces separately on the side!

For lovers of crispy fried chicken who are tired of the Colonel's recipe, the best option is Karachi Broast. The spicy broasted chicken (in my humble opinion) is fresher and tastier than the foreign fowl! Don't let the rudimentary open air seating throw you off - the food here is served hot off the grill and your meager bill is not inflated with fancy dining room charges. Don't forget to order lots of their signature spicy red hot sauce along with the white. A staple of the Boating Basin eateries - much better on site rather than home-delivered!

Been there a few times, the ambiance inside is quite unexciting with crowds from all over. I would recommend their drive through option, as its quick. Additionally if you order over a Rs 1000, you get a free menu item.

Rolls are delicious, but you can only eat in your car or takeaway. Chicken garlic mayo rolls are best .
We went for the ambiance of the restaurant. They serve Pakistani food. We went for lunch and shown to a comfortable table. We ordered a prawn curry which was great. The other dish was Kashmiri Lamb curry which was not what we expected. It tasted more like Nihari. The nans served hot from tandoor were awesome. We did not try any dessert.Would go there again.

If you are local desi food lover then Frontief Karahi is the place. Order Mutton karahi and enjoy finger licking taste. It is probably the best mutton karahi which comes in small cubes. Caution: dont rush for the order. It take 30 mins for full tender karahi so be patient. Meanwhile enjoy namkeen dumba boti.Current price is Rs 1750 per kg.
