One of the three principal islands of the Maltese archipelago, the island of Malta is the largest of the chain. Its capital Valletta, a lively, bustling city with many buildings dating back to the 16th century, teems with cathedrals, palaces and forts. The impressive Grand Harbour offers a dramatic arrival. The top archaeological attraction is the UNESCO-designated Hypogeum temple ruins, a macabre, 5400-square-foot underground necropolis and the world's only underground prehistoric temple.

We specialize in cooking seafood for takeaway. Daily fresh seasonal seafood available in stock. Come in or order by phone for pick up.
It may just be our bad luck or the fact that we were the only Asian-looking tourists around (and the lads thought we didnât know any better)... The fish and chips were the worst weâve ever had - coming from Australia we have had a few good ones. For 9 euros we got one (rather small) piece of over cooked cod with minimal batter and soggy chips. The fish was so dry and tough even the kids didnât want it. The chips were clearly deep fried in old, stale oil and was awful. And to think we specifically walked for 20min to get to this place based on reviews. There was unfortunately nothing âgourmetâ about the food. Just overpriced, and the joint had nowhere to sit except for two bar stools - and at the counter they asked us: would you like to eat in or takeaway? Eat in where?? If you want good fish and chips there are - as we discovered later - many better options around the island. Like the Sea Shell Fish and Chips in Bugibba and even many of the restaurants in Sliema and Valletta do a good (and fairly priced) deal on fish and chips. For less than or similar to what this joint charge for âgourmet takeawayâ you can get better food and enjoy proper table service (some place for 7 euros with a drink!).A really bad experience for us and we would advise other to be cautious - at least check whatâs in the takeaway box before you walk away..

Pizza Pasta Burger with Neapolitan style
I bought lunch for myself and two friends here. I came due to the high rating on Trip Advisor, but it wasn't cheap and tasted garbo. There's way better food nearby. Wouldn't recommend. Also the owners have a witty comment to make about every negative review telling them how wrong they are. As past customers, we use this and other review platforms to tell people of our experiences, you can't tell us that our opinion is wrong.

This is a local haunt. Nothing to look at, but they make beautiful little pastizzi (a pastry with cheese or pea puree filling). They are delicious and this place is famous in Malta for making them.We highly recommend it and it has the bonus of being right near the lovely city of Mdina

Came here for Lunch after seeing the TA rating & we were very impressed..Warm Greeting from the team & we were led to a table on the upstairs verandah, with great views over the Bay.Mrs JLA enjoyed a Mixed Kebab Plate which was plentiful, with both the Lamb Doner & Chicken being tasty & freshly prepared. With a choice of 5x salad items from their extensive selection & chips. The only negative was the bread which was quite tough & appeared to not be as fresh as everything else, which is a shame & not a corner worth cutting. My Maxi Moo Burger was tremendous! Came with chips & I opted to pay the â¬1.70 upgrade for Angus Beef & wow.. 2 patties of tender & juicy beef, loaded with cheese, donner meat, salad & a fried egg!!!Both meals were thoroughly enjoyed & washed down with 2x large beers. The Young waitress was pleasant & attentive with the food arriving in good time.Moos, please dont serve stale bread with your kebabs, as next time I want to give you the 5stars your really deserve..Dear Mr.JLA While we are happy to hear you nice feedback , we are also sad that you had an unfortunate situation regarding bread. I would like to assure you , cutting corners, let alone even itâs worth to cut , is not something that takes place in our business mentality. After discussing with our chefs , regarding your feedback about the bread , they made sure it was baked daily in the morning. What happened was , it was Sunday and we have run out of our regular type of flour which we use for our homemade pastries, and we had to get another type of flour which was available that moment, to save the day , which ended up causing our breads to be harder than it should be. I would like to let you know that Your feedback has taken seriously and it will absolutely help us to improve ourself. As you said , we would be glad to earn your 5- star review no matter what. Therefore I would like to personally invite you Mr. JLA & Mrs. JLA to give us a second chance and let us give you the best service and dining experience what we have known for. We Wish you happy holiday and kindly ,let us know before your visit by sending email to [email protected] Regards Yusuf K
