It has been said that Batchoy originated here in Iloilo and it may be so as evidenced by the no. of batchoy spots around the city. Netoy's in particular is said to be amongst the origal but sad to say, the taste is not consistent.I love and consumed my order and my companion did not enjoy his as much that he asked me to finish the same ... and that's when i found out that the taste is not consistent becauase my friends batchoy is salty as compared to my order which was next to perfect.

Roberto's is like our old Chinese resto at home --- serves the best comfort food. We got the queen sio pao, and four of us shared the gigantic treat. Loved the stuffing of pork, sausage, cheese, and more but it was the lumpiang shanghai which got me hooked. I am still craving for it til now, almost a week since I had them. It was cheap at P14 a piece, and you can smell it right after I got out of the car in front of the resto. I brought some to the hotel and heated it in the microwave, and it retained its crunchiness. The stuffing is not over moist but the outside is quite crispy.

When it comes to chicken barbeque , it will always be MANG INASAL as my number one. Tasty chicken goes with the clean and bright place , ideal for dining on an affordable budget. Yes, Mang Inasal is one restaurant where you can enjoy the maximum delight of bbq chicken . They also have other food on their menu board, but my eyes and my desire focus on their delectable chicken.

when you are hungry, chowking offers great morsels from soup to fried chicken to halo halo at affordable prices. some branches though can get quite crowded and crampy. it attracts families with kids after mass so better to go there during the weekdays before lunch or in the afternoon.

The one thing they have going for them is the large serving sizes, but other than that, the burgers aren't very tasty. Its not that the burgers are a little bland; for some reason, the taste of beef isn't coming through. Their fries are ok. The bacon that they put in their burgers is no where near crisp. A few wisps of shredded lettuce is the actualization of the description "a bed of lettuce." My kids like beef and burgers but some reason, they had a hard time finishing their food and it wasn't because of the serving size.Their tag line "the greasier the better" is half accurate. They definitely gave us greasy burgers but I disagree with the "better" bit.
