Things to do in Huntsville
I went in for the advertised medium single topping pizza @ $6.99. I asked how much it would cost to add an extra topping and was told that I couldn't add an extra topping to the special because the computer wouldn't allow it and that a two topping medium would cost me $11.99. After some arguing she finally read the part of the sign that said extra toppings could be added. All of a sudden she knew exactly how to work the computer, but she still charged me $1.50 per topping when the sign in the store clearly says $1.35. This is quite a profitable scam if you figure each customer gets overcharged by $5. I'm just wondering if it is limited to just this franchise or if it is a corporate sanctioned scam. I'm not a fan of chain take-out restaurants but if it is necessary to find one, I udually go to Harveys. Their outlet in Huntsville is an exception. It has the slowest service of any place that I've ever gone. The food prep area could best be described as chaos with untrained staff scrambling around to get food orders filled. I visit during the busy lunch time and supervisors are invisible. I witnessed large numbers of customers standing around waiting for their food. If their experience is like mine, their food will probably be cold and tasteless. I will never go back to Harveys.
This Subway is at a good location near the entrance ramps to HWY 11. There is a gas station at the same spot as well.Service is friendly and efficient, so you can get in and out quickly if needed.I like their salads.

It's Subway - predictable, reliable & good. One thing that sets Subway apart is the consistency of product from town to town. Occasional specials - e.g. guacamole, lobster - offer a bit of variety, but we always go with the turkey or turkey-bacon.
Traditional and modern chip truck food prepared without any animal products. Muskoka's only plant-based/vegan food truck.
My family and I decided to try this new food truck option in town to see if our dairy free son would like a poutine from there. My wife was ordering two small fries and asked if she could get the "cheese" on the side as our son has never had poutine before. At this the person inside the truck said, in a not so friendly tone, "um, this is a vegan food truck", and then went on to start explaining things..... we were quite aware of this going in, and are sorry that we used the word cheese when it came to the non-dairy shreds. Once we got our food it was good, but the "talking down" we got put a bad taste in our mouth. So, based on this we will be going back to the other choices in the area.Also..... no ketchup for those people who like it on their fries.Hello! I'm sorry you had a bad experience here. I remember your visit to the truck and remember your request. We have fans going inside the trailer and it can be very hard for me to hear people outside of the window. I thought you were requesting dairy cheese on the side because of your son's lactose allergy. My apologies. There are also a plethora of condiments available for you at the end of our condiment stand in a container. I do hope that you will try us again.

I stopped by here for a quick dinner meal as I was staying at a nearby hotel.I ordered a small salad bowl with chicken souvlaki.I was able to choose my ingredients and they topped it with a small handful of grilled chopped chicken. The salad was okay.Clean place and friendly service.
My son and I were looking for a small place to stop for a quick bite to eat. We looked on TA and found this sweet little spot! The homemade burgers and hand cut fries are fantastic! The seating area is really cool too! Tractor seat stools and horse saddle seats make for a very creative and unique eating area. The personal branding on the hamburger bun was a nice added touch. We will definitely make this our go to spot when we are in the area. They are only open May to Thanksgiving weekend.
