The town is 34.5 miles (55.5 km) southwest of London in the extreme west of Surrey, adjacent to the border with Hampshire. By road, Guildford is 11 miles (17 km) to the east and Winchester a further 28 miles (45 km) along the same axis as London. Farnham is the largest town in Waverley, and one of the five largest conurbations in Surrey. It is of historic interest, with many old buildings, including a number of Georgian houses. Farnham Castle overlooks the town. A short distance southeast of the town centre are the ruins of Waverley Abbey, Moor Park House and Mother Ludlam's Cave. Farnham is twinned with Andernach in Germany. It is drained by the River Wey (North Branch) which is navigable only to canoes at this point.

We have had takeaway meals from here at least twice a month for years. I have written a positive review in the past but thought I would do so again. My sister-in-law was so scathing over this place recently to us that I was really shocked. We have had consistent good quality meals from here over and over again. We always request home delivery and it always seems to come 45 minutes after the order has been placed. This weekend we had 6 people at home and decided on The Tasty House. Our menu was varied and quite a challenge I felt. Well it all arrived piping hot and we sat down for a banquet of Chinese Food which was superb. Not one item was left and we all collapsed outside totally fat and full. I cannot sing this takeaway's praises any higher than I do. But the sheer fact we go back over and over again says something about the quality, service and punctuality of the delivery. Thank you.

Waitrose leads the way with quality and the store is well laid out, not too large, so great for shopping and not getting lost.... the only issue is the fresh bread, that seems to be always low stock / empty, which could do with improving. The staff are always helpful, and the rebate on the car park is also handy - just remember your ticket 'stub' at the till.

We visited in November, as itâs somewhere new Iâd driving past.Lovely fresh Chicken and Lamb Kebab cooked on the grill. My other half had the hummus and falafel wrap. Both were top notch and Iâll visit again.

We were recommended this fish and chip shop as being the best in Farnham so we had high expectations. We ordered good old cod and chips, the batter on the fish was nice and crispy but the cod was utterly tasteless and the chips were limp, soggy and oily ( you could actually taste the oil), not a crispy bit in sight. We ordered 3 x standard cod and chips and it cost £24 which was extortionate, we have eaten far better for a third less of the cost in Farnham. Wont be going back, very disappointed.

The place is very nice and clean . Staffs are really very friendly and caring . Always fresh whenever I went . Nice and tidy with reasonable price . The new addition wrap is amazing and the savers menu only £2.59 a sandwich??? Thatâs really great price with a delicious food . I love Subway Farnham . Donât forget the student deal . Itâs onlu £5.50 for any footling sandwich + drink + cookie /crisps . Took my cute girl with me and have a perfect healthy food in a nice quiet place .
