I love this little place, It does what it says it does on the tin, Love the tuna subs 6in in Italian with onion, Parking is a nightmare so be careful you sometimes can park just going out of Epping outside the kebab heading to the forest

The Grill and the Poppy's café over the road are both extremely good value for money. Huge portions and taking into account the menu prices, although not top notch food, still excellent value for money. Can't understand the negative reviews here - good value and never come away hungry.

Since under new management the prices have gone up , they have removed the Sunday to Thursday bogof pizzas , they have started doing chicken Donna kebab ( the chicken Donna is lovely) But hardly any meat and over priced for what your getting ! We ordered from there last night and waited a hour and 50 mins for our delivery ! Was so annoyed !Better prices and service with the ppl who run it before ! Don't think we will be using them too often Poppy's kebabs seem the better choice !!

We popped into this restaurant for a quick snack, my husband ordered a patty, I ordered mac and cheese with 2 drinks, didn't have to wait long, food was brought to table, I took one look at the mac and cheese and could see a long hair on it, called the waitress over and told her, she said sorry and took it away, where I could see her showing other members of staff, which seemed to be smiling about it. I was disgusted by this, and said I didnt want another one, as I guess it would have been the same one with the hair removed, I had to ask for our money back. We wont be going there again, shame as we where looking forward to trying this restaurant.We are extremely sorry to read this review, our staff informed us of the situation and we thought it had been dealt with appropriately on the day as they expressed that you left the restaurant in a pleasant manor after they had apologised profusely and offered a new one and then gave a refund after you had declined, so i am a little surprised to find that you have left such a negative review on such a large platform, rather than ask to speak with the manager or owner on the day. And i can assure you that our staff were not smiling at the matter, in fact they were really surprised to see a blonde hair on the plate. All of our dishes are kept covered and this isn't something that we would take lightly. I can also assure you that you would have recieved a fresh mac and cheese (not the same one with the hair removed). All we can do is again apologise for your experience and welcome you back to our restaurant in the hope that you would give it another try : )
