Gourmet sandwich bar. BIG sandwiches and BIG taste. Quality danish commodities and fresh vegetables. Special imported cheese, ham, meat, fish and poultry. Homemade ingredients including sauces and salsas. Danish and international inspired kitchen. Varied
This place is a small sandwich restaurant close (a few blocks) to the Copenhagen main train station. You could easily walk by; however, you will be missing out on a great sandwich experience. The guy behind the counter recommended the 1, 5 or 9. I went with the 9 and was not disappointed. Easily, one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. The one item that makes a sandwich great, not just good is the bread. The bread, texture and taste was excellent. Plus, extra points for being slightly toasted.Last the sandwich was a generous portion. You wonât leave hungry. I will definitely go again next time in Copenhagen.+ Good service+ Great value for the priceThank you very much for taking the time to review Smagsløget - we truly appreciate it. We hope to see you at your next visit in Copenhagen. :)

Get your last grilled Danish hot dog before you go out into the world or a reunion with an old acquaintance when you land again. At Steff's Place, you can get everything that a traditional Danish hot dog stand has to offer.
French Hot Dog drenched in Mustard isn't my favourite. Also quite expensive. Only advantage is that is quite fast to get it if your train is about to leave from teh airport.

We were leaving from Copenhagen Airport back to the US after a Baltic cruise. We were warmed by other travelers that the Copenhagen Airport was difficult due to its inadequate size and facilities. We can confirm that this seems to be the case. After clearing the very long security lines, we hoped for some food before boarding our flight, and longed for a local sausage. This was a Saturday at 1PM, and yet this establishment had only TWO harried employees trying to serve an ever-longer queue. We waited fully 20 minutes for service, and noted many who left the queue during the long wait. For itself was tasty although hastily and sloppily prepared - with obvious reason.I have written to the Copenhagen Airport to inquire as to the poor performance of their food establishments, but they have sadly not written back with any explanation.
