Soft-serve ice cream & signature shakes top the menu at this classic frozen treat chain.
I've been coming here for at least two decades to get ice cream during the summer. Situated right across from the water and near the start of the Lachine Canal, this is the perfect place to grab a blizzard (or whatever other ice cream treat you desire) and enjoy the picnic tables at the restaurant, or across the street in the public park. A great pit stop during a longer bike trek as well!

Used to go there a long time ago but with the many changes of hands of ownership and food violations was not sure what to think. Went for a quick breakfast -eggs, bacon, potatoes, tomatoes and toast. Food was bland and okay. Service standard but was questioning the cleanliness of kitchen after seeing the unacceptable sight of their bathroom which turned me off. Not many people in restaurant so was wondering and now I am not shocked why lack of visitors. Not a place I would recommend and suggest elsewhere for breakfast or lunch!
Quebec, Canada Food Guide: 10 Canadian food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Dorval
Coming back from the airport from my vacation in April 2016, my friend who was giving me a lift back to my place and I decided to stop off her for something to eat. This place is one of the fast food places that have the deep friend thick cut french fries which are not grocery store bought and like the thick fries your parents used to cut and make. I'm a fan of these types of fries. I prefer these types of fries over the fries from the 5 major Canadian fast food restaurants (McDonalds, Harveys, Wendys, Burger King, or A&W).I really like "Italian Poutines" over "regular" Poutines so I opted for their "Poutine with Michigan Sauce". The Poutine with Michigan Sauce is basically french fries, a bolognaise style sauce (meat based tomato sauce) and cheese curds. I found their "Poutine with Michigan Sauce" to be very good. The negative thing about this place (provided that you like fast food) is that inside the restaurant, you eat at the counter (standing up). If you want to eat inside the restaurant (because of the weather), you eat standing up with your food at the counter. If the weather is nice, they have tables outside the restaurant. On the day that my friend and I was there, it was cold and raining so we ate standing up somewhat close to the cash register. There is ample free parking next to the restaurant.I rank them 3.5 stars out of 5 and like my other reviews, because 0.5 star values are not possible, I rounded them up since I don't want to shortchange the establishment so you will see 4 stars (but I really rank them as 3.5 stars)

We ordered pizza from here on the Sunday night and they were great, 2 medium pizza all dressed arrived quickly and hot. They were really great. On Wednesday night we didn't feel like going out so after subs not arriving from a different place we ordered again from this place. Well they were late as well, hubby kept calling, getting more peed off by the minute. They finally arrive to the tune of over 34.00 dollars, and guy with towel on head gets them out of trunk of car, hubby asked why they were in trunk, and he also said he had to go back and get more food, thats why he was so long. Meanwhile think he was using the car for a taxi as he had passengers in back seat. Those subs weren't fit to feed a dog, it looked and tasted like that steak'um from US. It was missing all the peppers, mushrooms, smoked meat that was to be on it. Will NEVER get what is so called food from here again, as we threw them in garbage and ate what we had around .
Where to eat Bar food in Dorval: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This is a typical subway but in an airport. The goal of subway to to provide decent robotic service and food that tastes the same at all their locations. Mission accomplished. My sandwich was average with all the toppings I told them to put on. They even toasted it without me even asking for it!It's subway!
Went to eat a chicken teriyaki sandwich. My problem was that I don't speak french and the staff at that time also didn't want to speak english.Ended up without the sandwich. I do not advise to go there if you don't speak french. For the food I thinks is the same as any Subway restaurant. Not very good but also not bad, good for a lunch on the run with not too many calories :)

All six of us had a quarter chicken and then I ordered a bowl of poutine. It was an enjoyable lunch, satisfying. I remember this kind of chicken from my home country, it tasted very similar to Max's Fried Chicken. The poutine was good, I liked it!

When we come to Montreal we look forward to the unique taste of a good Montreal pizza that we can't get anywhere else and this is not close to the real deal. This is commercial bad Dominos style pizza. If you want cheap uninspiring pizza then this is it. Nothing memorable unfortunately for the right reasons. We'll try something else next time overnighting by the airport.
