Always undercooked, more than one occasion the topping had totally slid off pizza, had a few instances where they have refused to deliver, one we accidentally checked out as collection online, rang up & the manager was adamant he couldnât help, he didnât want to more like! So my partner had to get changed after work and go back out, when the whole point was to have delivery, so he didnât have to go back out. Another time, my friend had her NHS discount card that she pays for, they refused to deliver & said it was only collection, even though she had written proof she was entitled to her discount on delivery. The manger is extremely unhelpful and just did not want go know. Before this review, went through the process of complaining, which is near impossible, because its a franchise and dominoes generally donât care either. Also ordered particular ice cream and received totally different flavour. Poor pizzaâs, that are overpriced, i would rather go to the kebab shop, their pizzaâs taste better & are good value forMoney!! Support small business!

I didnt feel like cooking so popped in for fish and chips which was made to order. It was busy but got served quickly. Friendly staff so obliging

I needed a delivery of Chinese food after 14 hours of flying and driving to get to Daventry (a smallish community north of London). Checked some recommendations, and decided to try Koon Wah Chinese. The person on the phone was super helpful, even going through menu items with me (there was no online menu ANYWHERE).Food arrived quickly, and was delicious. I ordered duck with vegetables, and was among the best I have ever tried.I am uploading a copy of the menu as well! Very inexpensive, but you would never tell based on food quality.

We were moored on our narrow boat in Braunston and as there weren't many take-aways on our journey on the Grand Union canal, we took the opportunity.It is a tiny shop, easy to miss, at one end of the village.It opened at 4.30pm on a Tuesday, which was good for us.We both ordered cod and chips. We were going to order a large chips to share but the lady behind the fryer said that the regular chips would be enough and she was right! We also had mushy peas and a white roll. The fish batter was cooked in beef dripping and as a result was so crispy and flavoursome. The only thing I would point out are the photos of food on posters, which are not appetising in any way and would put you off ordering the dishes.However, the food was very good and is recommended for a reasonably priced take-away meal.

Traditionally, for us,Friday night is fish and chips so being new to Daventry we've tried all the chip shops here and the Daventry Square Fish Bar is by far the most consistently good. Cod has a light and crispy batter and we always order one large chips between two of us...and there's still loads left! Good value for money and smart courteous service with a smile.

THE best chippie in town/ the district. Excellent well cooked hot food. Warm friendly service and cheerful staff. Lovely family run plaice...could with joining delivery service. Pricing not bad quite competitive. Recommend Michaels Golden Chippie to everyone.
