We recently were in Columbus during the hours of operation and gave it a try. Know where you are going or you will pass it by. A small store front with no seating but do not be discouraged. The staff was friendly from beginning to end. Food was prepared fresh. Our first trip we did the ultimate that included fish, chicken, hush puppies and two sides. The chicken and fish are delicious but for some the breading might be a little salty. The macaroni and cheese was better than home. Also loved the fried potatoes. Plenty for two to share and very reasonably priced. Try Homeboyz home cooking.

Great choice of rice, meat vegetables and lentils. There is usually a line. But you can beat the line by getting there around 11.30AM. Food is amazing, be sure to try their sauces (by the drinks dispenser)

Special dogs, Special people. What a great place. People helping people make great food. Very friendly place. They get hot dogs there. They have West Virginia style hot dogs. You can't get them everywhere. We both had WV style dogs with ribbon fries and a drink. Fast friendly service, reasonably priced. They are changing lives one hot dog at a time. What a concept. Overall, a great visit. When in Columbus, you have to stop here and get a bite to eat.Thank you so much for that amazing review. We really appreciated how we hope to see you again real soon

Interesting that there are no reviews for this place yet. It is usually busy for lunch but not any other time. After you enter the door, you place your order and then walk down the counter to the cashier. This is where you order your drink. You can get sodas and tea from the fountain or get lemonade which the cashier gets for you. They also have chocolate chip cookies at the cashier. You then go seat yourself and they bring your food to you by yelling out your name.The restaurant is always clean. The employees are always helpful. They also stay busy. If there are not many customers, they are cleaning or doing some food prep.You order off a board on the wall. There are many sandwich choices. You can even build your own. You can choose hot or cold. I definitely would recommend hot. There are three sizes to choose from....6 inch, 8 inch, or 12 inch. The Philly Cheesesteak is my favorite.They serve fresh cut fries. The fries are excellent. The lemonade is very good too.The prices of the sandwiches are fair. However, I think the price of the fries are on the high side.I definitely recommend Penn Station for a good sandwich for lunch.

Ate here on New Years Eve, they were closing at 3:00 in the afternoon. We were a little surprised, due to the lines and drive thru being packed. Service was good, food was hot. Nice clean restaurant.
