Friend of counter staff doesn't line up but is served ahead of people in line. No wifi and this isn't first time.Wife left shopping cart to join me prior to leaving building and was told off and to make sure she took it out on leaving. Another woman did same thing a few minutes later and no comment. Only difference my wife is Chinese. I don't generally visit McDonald's as I consider their food garbage actually worse than garbage as has lots of GMO crap in it. But had to kill time while wife shopped a she wanted the free coke glass that came with meal combo. Fried were very salty and chicken tasted close to card board in my opinion but expected as much. Probably another year or two before I am stupid enough eat something there again. Brain fart moment I attribute it to.
Who does not love fried chicken? We decided to stop by to give it a try on our way home and I am glad that we did. Just take note that the food can be spicy - so be warned. We tried the popcorn shrimp, chicken tender, Cajun chicken burger and the Deluxe chicken burger. It was all freshly prepared and very good. The service was friendly and prompt. I was pleasantly surprised, I mean fast food is fast food, but the chicken was really tender and moist. I would try this again.
It's like KFC without all the grease, with more meat, and tastier. When they first opened, the chicken servings were much bigger. I think they were trying to drum(stick) up business to sell it for higher profits. However, the present owners do a very good job of taking care of their customers and serving delicious food. Popeyes is SOOOOO much better than KFC.

For many years, living in Toronto, we frequently had delivery pizza from the local 241 franchise. Now residing in Cobourg, we thought we'd try the local branch. We ordered the same selection as always, and on thin crust. The food came exactly as requested, and in less than half-an-hour. The price for delivery pizzas seems to be high everywhere, so no real surprises. The only downside was the telephone operator, who sounded bored and unpleasant. No "please" or "thank you" from her. Tip to franchisee: you only get one chance to make a first impression !
We ordered 3 specialty pizzas and a gluten free one. My wife stated that this was the best GF pizza she has had. She tried GF pizza from around 6 local pizza places and Dominos was the best. Online ordering was quick and easy. We really enjoyed all the pizza we tried. The 50% off promotion was awesome as well. Very happy with our dining experience.
Only thing about this pizza place is you rarely have to wait for your food. A small variety of premade pizzas advertised as "hot and ready" and they generally are. Prices are another reason people come here - probably the cheapest pizzas in town. But you get what you pay for...dried out toppings, scantily spread around a bland sauce. Good thing it's inexpensive!
Mr.Sub yours since 1968, for fifty years it's been our pleasure to welcome guest after guest, but there's one greeting we like most: Welcome back.
Not much of a surprise here - there are two locations: downtown is right across from the police station, so it is relatively normal late nights (unlike other fast food places that have late night hours); the one north by the 401/Hospital is in a plaza that can be challenging to find parking during normal business hours but is fine in the evenings but closes much earlier than downtown. Both locations are just like a regular Mr. Sub or Subway or any other submarine sandwich joint - the downtown location is larger and a bit nicer to sit and eat at. Downtown one is a great spot to grab a sandwich and take it to the park/beach.
Have been coming here on and off for years and have not been disappointed. Their souvlaki is very good and their tzatziki is awesome!!!! The burgers are standard but they also have a home made burger. Great hang out for the high school kids at reasonable prices.

Reminds me of my childhood burger place with big portions of delicious food. The veggie burger tasted so much like real meat that it fooled me for a moment. The chip truck fries are up there with the best I've had (they also taste good cold). The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pretty cool. I don't understand the bad reviews at all. Seems to me some people are just nit-picky and have unrealistic expectations. This place is great. I assure you, you will be pleased with the food and the service. It doesn't hurt to give it a try!

What's the point. I have gift cards & haven't been able to use them, their system has been down at 2 different locations (Bowmanville & Cobourg) on at least 3 separate occasions since November. Never again...Once I get them cashed in.Menu selection has also gone downhill since they have reduced the options available on their menu. Most recent visit at this location, the burritos were'nt even lukewarm when sat down to eat them in???? No container available to take home leftovers. Very sad!!!
