We travel around OH/WV/KY looking for great coney dogs. We live close to Columbus, so have been to Dirty Franks (a Columbus icon and hot-dog-destination) a number of times. The dogs at Dog Daze are amazing. The coney sauce is fantastic. My husband gets the Boston and the beans are good.But let's get right to it... the COLESLAW IS TOP NOTCH!!! I'd buy a gallon of their slaw in a heartbeat, but they don't sell it like that. We tried their potato salad once, and weren't happy with it. We'll stick to the slaw.I usually get there in the early afternoon, and the dining room always has at least some customers. Many folks just do takeout, as we do (we bring a cooler and wrap everything in foil for the trip down to Columbus). The summer months are more busy, but even last weekend (November) there was only one empty table at noon.

I want to love Wood's, but it is ridiculously expensive. I ordered a root beer float it was expensive, I thought, and it had one little measly scoop of ice cream. Really? I could handle the price if it had been good but this just seems like pure greed. Go somewhere else.

This restaurant is consistently good. They feature healthy and not so healthy choices. It is up to you. Food is fast. The employees are kind and helpful. One complaint is the breadsticks which are very oily and soft.

The place wasn't busy, but I'd become enamored of DiBellas when I was in Columbus on business, and I like their rolls and the fact that you can build whatever you want from scratch. Ishould have stuck with that concept, because my Philly steak was good,but I grew up in Philadelphia and it wasn't Philly, a little pricey for a sub and a bag of chips
