Welcome to Imperial Pizza. We have been serving Buffalo's Best Pizza & Wings & other food to the Buffalo & WNY Community for over 26 years.
My wife and I just had the opportunity to visit the "New" Imperial Pizza Bar and Restaurant yesterday. Wow! I visit Imperial often for their generous lunch specials with the largest pizza slices in the Buffalo area. Now, they've hugely expanded to offer a modern brew-pub sports bar looking chic bar and restaurant to what is already pretty widely known as the best pizza in Buffalo!, can say bar none because they have that now! For about $6 my wife and I each got our own pizza choice which they call a quarter pizza, which is to say 3 large slices served on a small pizza size plate. Also, for $11.95 we ordered a single order of medium BBQ wings. Incredible! is all we can say. They were huge and tasted like they just came off of the Weber Charcoal Grill in the backyard. My wife enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine, one white and one red at $7.50 per glass. They only offer one brand of wine now but our fantastic bartender thinks for sure as they grow they will bring in more styles and labels I enjoyed one of the best red ale's out there, a Sullivan's Red 16oz at $7.50 and then a Peroni at $5.50. Imperial has 16 beers on tap. We can't wait to go back, especially come summer time when the garage doors to the patio are open connecting the bar/lounge area to the outdoors. For family dining, there is a large separate dining area with large comfortable booths to the far side as you enter the restaurant. Congratulations Imperial on the incredible new establishment and Good Luck!
My fiancee used to take me here because it's a favorite of her and her family and while I will say the food is pretty decent the owner's son has got to be one of the most arrogant people i've encountered in my food service history. This guy for a large sub and a side of macaroni salad charged me $18 no disputing this character either. I paid and laughed it off because I kind of feel bad for this kid. Regardless $18 that's freaking outrageous. I've seen him argue with coustomers, treat his staff terrible, and tell someone they couldn't have their food because they didn't except credit cards. Something Patty should have said on the phone. And a point the man trying to pick up attempted to make. No credit card machine haha, cute. Perhaps sonny didn't want to pick up the family business regardless he hurts it. Don't believe me look at Urban Spoon reviews much of the same thing is said. Don't support a place with management like this. Unless your someone who grew up with this place and this kid they will treat you like trash. So don't waste your time. I will never go back here again.
Where to eat Greek food in Blasdell: The Best Restaurants and Bars
As a former military member, I was stationed in various southern states and was a frequent visitor to the Popeye's restaurant chain. Needless to say, I was overjoyed at the prospect of one opening in the Buffalo area, particularly in the south towns. As soon as it opened, I was there. I understand that the volume of business they were doing their first few weeks of being open was high. Still, I was extremely disappointed to get to the person taking my order just to have them speak broken English, understand English even worse than they spoke it, not know what was on the menu (they had to run in the back and ask every time I asked them a question about one of their menu items), and be completely unwilling to make simple substitutions. I am not one of the people that creates accounts on sites to talk badly about restaurants. I love to eat and truly appreciate good service, knowledgeable staff, and most importantly, the food. This place warrants a less than stellar review. In addition to the poor service, the food wasn't hot or fresh. I am devastated that one of my favorite restaurants in the U.S., that opened up a location in close proximity to where I live and travel, would hire and train such inferior, user unfriendly staff. I'm all for giving a place a second chance. It could have been an "off" day for the cooks and cashiers. I get that. Were I basing my return there on just one visit, I would not return. It pains me to leave an average rating for here, being that average is a long way from poor, but, it's what I'm willing to do until I give them another try.
