The best the North Shore has to offer in the sub department, lunch or dinner. Nobody comes close to the overall value that Super Sub has to offer, even if it's a little pricey here or there. The parking can be difficult, but it's manageable from a local's perspective. Super Sub is fantastic in every way possible: their Italians, cheeseburgers, chicken fingers, cheesesteaks, and everything else are amazingly delicious. Everything I had on their menu as a long-time customer has been great.

We go in here quite a bit (including today!) and the food is always really tasty and the ingredients are always fresh. We like the salads, as well as the soups and sandwiches. Standouts include the chef salad, the summer salad, any of the soups, the grilled cheese and tomato sandwich and, of course, the cookies. We haven't tried the pizza yet (trying to watch the waistlines), but it looks just as yummy. The cooks working the line know what they're doing, and the staff at the counter make a real effort to get you your food as soon as it's ready. We've been in at least 20 times and have never been disappointed in anything. The people here seem to enjoy working together, there is lots of friendly banter going on, and they work as a team.I will say this: the food we've eaten here is as well made as the same dishes "fancy" restaurants charge twice as much for. We are believers and will continue to frequent Essex Pizza.

The Acai Bowl is out of this world...fresh fruit over the frozen acai puree...bananas, strawberries, blueberries, coconut, granola. And I add a dollop of almond butter on top. The 'child side's more than enough for an adult. You're gonna love it!! I just went there 3 days in a row while recovering from being in the hospital.My acai bowl made me do the happy dance and the staff are kind, friendly, and knowledgeable.Don't miss it!!
