A best place to taste real Sri Lankan delicacies. "Simple" Restaurent, Akurala (between Ambalangoda & Hikkaduwa). Already become a tourist place because of lovely food and the service offered by a lovely family. Beautiful environment facing beautiful beach and serene pond lakes of Akurala. Bird watching, sea bath, nature walk and exercise track granted wthin 50feet walk. Dont forget to enjoy the sunset view if you visit in an evening. Reasonable prices and food quality will amaze your taste buds.

The food here was excellent. My girlfriend and I had been traveling round the last 4 days and had eaten bang average meals. This place was class, 2 delicious burgers, cost us next to nothing.Doesnât look that great from the outside, but once you walk in the restaurant extends out the back and is lovely. Highly recommended.

Nordic House is located in the heart of Hikkaduwa. I went there many times last year and also this year for drinks and burgers. They really serve you the best burger in town! The staff is extremely friendly which I appreciated a lot.

We went here for lunch after am exhausting dive and it was perfect! We both had some rotis with avocado/guacamole and tomatoes and they were sooooo delicious! We also had some pineapple lassis which were so, soo tasty! Best after-dive refueling ever!
