I enjoy the occasional Burger from Hungry jacks in Melbourne and N.S.W. and thought I'd have a go at one in Alice Springs.WRONG... I waited at the service counter with two other families waiting to have our orders taken by the one female staff member in attendance.And we waited, and we waited but nothing apart from seeing her run around placing orders on the kitchen staff.Then it finally became obvious that she was taking orders from the drive in service point out in the lot.Still we waited until finally I'd had enough and left utterly disillusioned and still hungry but VERY brassed off !

Went the opening week originally, fantastic service and friendly staff. Ordered the University burger and a Veggie burrito. It was decently priced, sized and full of flavour. We opted to go back a second time... boy was that a mistake. Second time Staff at the take away counter didnât greet us when we attended, too busy on there phone (I actually had to initiate the conversation). Staff could barely understand English as we had repeat our orders three times before she understood what we wanted. We ordered the same as first time.. Burger was poorly made, didnât have any of the flavour and appeared to an excessive amount of mayonnaise. Veggie burrito was sloppy and mostly had plain rice and still had skin from the avocado. Not after any thing too flash, ordered a yummy combo noodle box and two springs rolls from this busy little noodle bar. All cooked fresh within 5 mins. They offer takeaway chopsticks or spoons/forks. Food was tasty, hot and good value. Just what I was looking for

No matter where you travel, these places are the same. I ducked in for a quick bite to eat and it was just like being back in Melbourne.Food fresh. Staff friendly enough considering it's a fairly boring job.I don't normally eat here as it's not my thing but I was desperate and it did the job of filling the belly.

I took the wife to this place recently whilst visiting my sister in the Alice and the feed was great. We had the fish and chips and a burger with the works and they were both of very good quality. Would return for sure if visiting the Alice. The staff were nice and friendly as well.
