We were a group of three heading to Dunedin from Queenstown last week. We stopped by Alexandra to have some breakfast. Hungry Belly Cafe did catch our eyes but we were so hungry and we didn't want to risk it so we went to the local cafe in Alex.However, on the way back we decided to hop in there to have some dinner. The food was so good and I totally regret my decision in the morning. We personally thanked the chef and the guy who served us and also told them about our morning incident. They were all super friendly and cool. As we go to Dunedin often, we will definitely come back again and againThank you very much for a lovely review. Happy to hear you enjoyed the food and time in our cafe. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Very tasty kebabs for a reasonable price. Always greeted with a friendly smile and good service. Highly recommended.

Behind the non descript street frontage you would hardly know there is one of the best traditional kiwi bakeries .. cream buns and donuts to die for .. great pies and on Fridays chocolate eclairs.. thank God they are only available on Fridays .. this bakery is run by a hard working man by the name of Robert.. and when he goes on holiday he id sorely missed by most of the towns tradies i would surmise. Pasties and pies which one .. have 2 .. yoyos Custard squares afgans and Belgium biscuits all so good .. and more including bread rolls

Food wise KFC is much of a muchness between stores, so for what the customer experiences itâs probably the level of service that changes the most. In the case of the Alexandra KFC the service was appalling. Not just because it lacked a reasonable level of customer engagement, but because basically they are slack. One person on the counter at 6pm who was slow meant the wait for service was far too long. Itâs as though they forget that customer turnover is critical for profit. The general slackness was confirmed with the paltry portions of chips that didnât even fill the provided bags etc. This place is useless.
