Pub 18 is small and charming, centrally located in the main square of the village of San Lazzaro Agerola. The owner is a very kind and friendly boy and chats and jokes with all customers as if they were his friends, making you feel really at home. The menu is quite rich and includes vegetarian dishes. The draft beers are only three but good and excellent quality. The portions are generous and the ingredients are fresh and of good quality. The fries are not very oily. The prices are very low.

Spotted this place while looking for something quick for lunch. It's tucked out of the way and doesn't look much. But don't be fooled the food is excellent and there's a great choice. Something for everyone also the drinks are very well priced. I'd definitely eat here again

We had some amazing food while touring the Amalfi coast but this place for me, stood out in every way.We travelled down from Maiori especially to visit this deli and it was worth the boat & bus trip. The bus from Amalfi stops 150 meters from Il Rifugio, it was a stunning journey too.You can either just go straight in and eat or you can work up an appetite and take a walk down to the sea and back up again, take water!!! We did the latter and then spent a fabulous couple of hours in the deli garden which is across the road and has spectacular views and lots of shade or sun, whichever you prefer. We started with an Limoncello Spritz & an Aperol Spritz...., we were then delivered the lightest, tastiest pizza style focaccia (I think!) and a mozzarella, chicken, sweet corn & basil salad - amazing! We then shared another mixed platter that we asked the delightful owners to put together for us. This was all washed down with a bottle of the house Rifugio wine.We left with more wine, cake, incredible home made crostini and wonderful memories. If we’d been staying longer I’d have gone back. It’s well worth making the effort to go here even if you’re not staying in the area. You’re very unlikely to regret it.Thank you so much from Praiano on the Amalfi Coast!
