Very fast service which is why I like this place when in a rush and looking for something tasty that is affordable, filling and hot! Stuffed crusts are our favourite and the free pot of garlic mayo that comes with it! Always go for chicken and sweet corn and they donât skimp on the cheese. Lovely!

Came here with my mother who came here often with my dad. Very enjoyable meal and staff were very friendly. lovely chicken and mushroom pie and chips. could see why it was a favourite.

Living within walking distance of this fish and chip shop I find it hard not to frequent it more often! It serves really fresh, tasty, battered fish and great chips. Smaller portions are also available and prices are reasonable. There is limited parking outside, on the busy main road if you are driving there. It has level access and I have always found it very clean, modern with very friendly staff.

Doing our Christmas shopping looking for a tree with freezing hands. We called into the Retro to warm up, We were given a friendly welcome by the staff, my wife's hands were particularly cold. She was given a mug of hot water to warm her hands on, while we waited for our order. The pork rolls and baguettes are to die for, with plenty of meat, stuffing, apple sauce and a delicious salad WOW!!! We enjoyed our cuppas which were lovely and hot, but the attention given to my wife to warm her hands up was commendable, and thoughtful. There are a selection of cooked meats to choose from that looked good but we couldn't fault the pork. They do a lot of rolls etc on a take away basis. We will definitely revisit when in Abergavenny again.

Decent amount of parking and Drive thru available.Very clean Mcdonald's with everything replenished.Staff were friendly and helped advise on allergies.We ate in and everything was perfect. Reading reviews my suggestion is to check food before leaving if using the Drive thru.Food was piping hot and drinks were excellent and thick for milk shakes. Also one last good thing is that each table has a wireless charger for your phone or other such compatible device.Would recommend.
