Italian, Mediterranean see food cuisine. Vegetarian plates. No vegan options. Raw materials high quality.
First of all, let me tell you not to take any notice of the negative reviews of this restaurant. Ristorante MOG is not your normal run of the mill restaurant. It has a contemporary fit out and an amazing chef, using only the best quality ingredients. If you want all this and outstanding food you are naturally going to pay more than average. However your taste buds will be rewarded, without too much damage to your wallet or credit card. The complainers obviously have no pallet and no appreciation of fine dining. They should probably stick to the pizzeria, but they would still find something to whinge about. The girls on the floor were good and were able to tell us about wines by the glass. It would be easier if these were included in the wine list. Unfortunately beer choices were poor. One cheap Mexican beer and one 9% alcohol beer.Italian beer is great. Please get rid of these two and use the Italian option. We shared a gnocchi entree which was excellent, combining the flavors of olives, tomatoes and hard ricotta. Our main course of fillet steak, foie gras and port sauce could only be described as outstanding. Our bill came to 110 euros, which is about what we would pay for a similar quality meal in Australia. However it was still great value considering the outstanding quality and the passion and finesse of the chefs.

We had dinner in this restaurant. The waiters categorically could not cope with the service of a large number of people, we waited our order about an hour. We ordered marine Carbonara and spaghetti al vongole. Spaghetti al vongole was average and too salty, but the Carbonara was awful, so disgusting pasta I didn't eat even at a roadside cafe in Moscow. Pasta was overcooked and looked like porridge, the egg was rolled up and was present in the dish in the form of pieces. The taste of the pasta was also bad, the worst pasta we ate. Also, we get a bread with pasta, instead of serving it to the table while we waited for the main course. We told the waiter the pasta was overcooked, but he just walked away and looked at us like fools.

Traditional Ligurian restaurant, located in the historical center of the town in a beautiful square. Tipical and local food, fresh pasta home made, fresh salads, bruschette, beef fillet steak, fresh fish everyday, vegetarian and gluten-free menu. Good wine
This was another recommendation from friends. We are not foody people, and we are budget conscious, but we enjoyed our pasta dishes and side orders, although portions were on the small side. The quality of the food was excellent, but more expensive than other places in Santa Margherita. Not convinced that the quality, though good, justified the higher prices.

Beautifull location on the sea for a romantic dinner bellisima posizione per una cena romantica!
We have been to Italy many times in the past few years, and always had good experiences. With the ratings we tried this place; what a disaster at every level. The waiter had absolutely no knowledge of wine although he made a recommendation then afterwards Ashad me how it was as he didn't drink wine. Another waiter came to take the order but couldn't speak English. We wound up ordering vegetables that were already included. The menu wasn't very exciting but the food was terrible; the tuna appetizer had a fishy taste and the entrees were not good. BTW it is not inexpensive.

A delightful little al fresco restaurant set in a short paved courtyard about 300m west of the centre of Santa Margherita Ligure off the Portofino road. You must go, but make sure you book. Fantastic fresh local produce prepared with great love and care, and great service. We had octopus and mustard dressing and seafood carpachio to start, then the special ravioli with a beef sauce. All extremely good, followed by 2 exquisite puddings. They clearly love what they do and yearn to share it with diners. Do go!Many thanks for last night, "Mr John" and the wife

Need to prebook but its worth it . The lovely garden area at the rear provides a lovely atmosphere for the great food. The veggie dip plus the lovely homemade bread to their own recipe was very welcome precursor to the fish main course and superb desert. If in SM you must eat here! Its hidden away in the back streets but worth tracking it down. Recommended.Hidden away in the back streets? DuCoq is the center of the world!Thank you for your beautiful review, we are proud you ate here twice during your holiday! Above all you appreciated our dessert, we are still working on it to surprise our best clients... What are you waiting for? Come back soon!

Now we are Open and we are waiting for you! The restaurant L'Arenella is a charming and stylish restaurant nestled among the rocks in the Zoagli cove called Arenella. Here you will see, appreciating our kitchen, the entire Tigullio Gulf and the sunset beh
Not sure what other recent reviews tried, but we had exceptionally good anchovies (fried and lemon marinated), excellent orata, and very good other items. Good wine selection. Very good service. Wonderful view and freshly renovated after the big storm. Worth coming back. Great value for the price.

We were recommended this restaurant and the food was amazing. The mini seafood degustation was delicious but the service was a little offhand.

Loved the place. Right next to the old castle facing the sea. The service was very good and friendly. A very wide drinks menu. Tried local beers and loved them. They serve a complementary snacks platter which is quite nice and sumptuous. Definitely recommended for a fun evening.

Le Cupole Restaurant is located on the top floor of the Grand Hotel Bristol in Rapallo Italy. Great food, unforgattable view, "money for value" place. We are on Alain Ducasse Carnet Gourmand.
We booked this restaurant to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary while on holiday in Italy. We specifically booked this one as it has a tasting menu, something we always look out for.The Hotel (Bristol) is just outside the main area of Rapello some 10 minute walk. The restaurant itself is on the top floor with outside seating which as views go is ok, nothing special.Sadly the food was very much the same, out of the 7 courses, there was only one that stood out as very good, the rest were forgettable, either because they really weren't very good or the presentation was "slopped on a plate"Certainly somewhere I wouldn't rush back to.Dear Guest, thank you for your review and cid sorry to read that you did not perceive the quality you expected. Sometimes the dishes are specially prepared in the way you define "cut" ... Sincerely
