Reviews on European food in Zaragoza, Province of Zaragoza, Spain. A rich blend of the historic and modern, Zaragoza sits on the banks of the Ebro River. Stroll in the center of town near San Miguel's pedestrian ways or around the Plaza de los Sitios, where you find boutiques, markets and souvenir shops. A center for gastronomy, Zaragoza offers food and drink for every budget and taste. But tapas is a must! In 2008, Zaragoza hosted the International Exhibition; the Water Tower, Bridge Pavilion and River Aquarium show off of the city's avant-garde architecture.

We were very hungry when we arrived at Bula. We selected new dishes yet untested, and were satisfied with the outcomes. The Bacalau wrapped in Filo pastry was delightful, not salty at all. The polpo was flavourful, cooked in onion broth. Foie on toast was delicious n done well, melting in your mouth. Mushrooms was cooked with scrambled eggs and baby prawns. We were most impressed with the efficient serving steward, who single handedly looked after all the customers' needs, and kept no one waiting. He hardly spoke English, but could communicate the essentials. He even had time to conduct social chats with regulars.

The Restaurante Celebris is to be found at the heart of the Hotel Hiberus. With its simple but meticulous interior decoration which strives for intimacy, bathed in natural light, this hotel is a meeting point for those who wish to view the city from anoth
Modern restaurant in a modern hotel, the Hotel Hiberus, which is in the new business centre on the 2008 Expo site, about 15 minutes from the centre of Zaragoza. While the menu is relatively short and is a fixed choice of 2 or 3 courses plus wine, there are enough options for most people to find a combination they like. Each course was interesting and well presented and the staff were very friendly, making it a relaxed, enjoyable night out. While it may not rate as one of the more exceptional gastronomic experiences, we definitely enjoyed our dinner here and the price was surprisingly low for a restaurant of this kind - 56 Euro fro 2 including a bottle of nice local wine and mineral water. Definitely value for money and an interesting location as well.Dear mfnoble:Thank you for your comments and taking the time to share your opinion about our restaurante. We are glad that you enjoyed our food and the wines from our menuWe hope to see you again on your next visit Best Regards, Restaurante Celebris

What a fab meal. Service superb. Food superb. Matching wines very interesting and wonderful. No point in trying to describe it. Words will not do it justice. Very highly recommended.

Very inventive TAPAS, we went there twice during a short visit to the city. Service prompt, efficient and friendly. The TAPAS were very inventive and different, local white wine was a verdejo - No complaints and the total bill undervalued the equity and quantity of the food. We sat upstairs and the ambience was buzzing - really lively. However, on the second visit we had a hair well embedded into a piece of fried chicken. Overall we would recommend this restaurant
