Unfortunatly I was disappointed by the menu and although the servers were lovely and friendly the main meal was quite basic. It was served with a bland sauce over a piece of grilled chicken on a bed of slightly undercooked potatoes. There were no vegetables at all offered No Sunday lunch was on either of the menus I saw.Nice decor just needs a better menu and a more appetising presentation of the dishes.
Went for lunch with my friend, friendly service, food was lovely but sometimes thereâs a bit of a wait, as we were not in the rush there was no problem but I guess if your in your lunch break it may be not suitable for the quick bite. Premises look lovely, with a rustic look and a good ambiance. Canât wait to return.

I visit Vasco da Gama regularly and I must say it is consistently good. Authentic home made Portuguese food, great ambiance with a mix of people and cultures. We usually have tapas washing it down with a super bock. Recommended to all Portuguese food lovers, simplicity and tasty food at his best. See you soon

Came here last Saturday on the back of lots of positive things said about the place. The service was fantastic from the moment we arrived. We were treated like friends rather than paying customers. Also, the owners are from Portugal aswell which explains just how delicious and authentic the food is. Will definitely be coming back in future.

A great little place built inside a former bank building, great selection of drinks great staff, very friendly and knowledgable. A great little touch is the drinks cellar which is downstairs in one of the old vaults. A love little bar.
