I did stay in this city just for 2 night part of the business trip. Not busy city but a lot of shopping opportunities. Worth to visit if you near this place
Food was very good. Staff does not speak English, but pointing at menu on wall and looking at other diners food works well. Very ample portions, Ate there several times. Recommend but not a fancy place. Prices reasonable
Restaurant and Pub "Piwniczna" is a unique place where everyone can taste delicious food or have a beer. The restaurant, due to its location in the basement, can be distinguished by an amazing atmosphere.
Visited this cellar restaurant/bar late September 2019, and was immediately struck by its warm atmosphere and relaxing background music. The friendly English speaking staff showed me the menu, I decided to stay and enjoyed tasty perfectly cooked cod (dorsz) and potatoes (ziemniaki). A choice of draft beers was available, as well as bottled, and I intend to go back there next time I visit Wolsztyn Experience

I was there with the group of 10 people. The table was found quickly.Service was fast but not really good: girls didn't know the names of the dishes they were serving, so we had to really ask a lot of questions to get the right dish to the right person. The light in the toilet has disappeared while I was drying my hands, so I had to light with the phone to find the way out.As for dishes, some of us like the cuisine, but I wasn't from that part.
This restaurant was an Oasis in the Desert, after a 2 hour train ride from Poznan on a very hot day my wife and I were looking for a glass of wine and a large Beer, but Wolsztyn has a great lack of Bars, we came upon this Oasis just in time!!.We had our drinks and then stayed for lunch it was excellent, we took pot luck with the lunch offerof the day, all in Polish it was very good, pea soup then fish with potato's and sauerkraut. 10 out of 10.

Locomotiva is modern pub&restaurant, which is located by the lake, and in the city center. We specialize in european and polish cuisine. Beautiful view on lake, cost atmosphere is great for meetings with friend or family. Our inspiration are steam locomot
Locomotiva is about as trendy as it gets in Poland, with the decor reflecting Wolszstyn as a steam railway centre. It's right by the lake and the menu is extensive. I don't eat meat, so I was happy to have the salmon and salad. Beer is inexpensive. I was with a tour group so cannot comment on value for money.
