I am not sure why 'Firenze' is not nearer the top of the restaurant rankings in Wedemark as a colleague and I ate dinner here and we both thought the food and the restaurant ambiance was very good. Prices were also reasonable and service was good... I would certainly recommend it.We both had the Scampi al Forno to start, which was excellent, followed by the Tagliatelle with Fillet Steak and the Linguine with Salmon (and I added some Gorgonzola). I really enjoyed my starter and my linguine and the olives and bread we had were also excellent. Including a 0.5L Bitburger Beer and a glass of Merlot the total cost of our meal was â¬49.80, which I think was very good value. Firenze in my mind certainly deserves to be ranked in the Top 5 restaurants.

Hoped for a traditional German dinner, but were disappointed. We ordered Lasagna for the kids, one consisted hair samples from the cook, one was cold and one was served on a salad eventhough ordered without. After the hairy one was sendt back the waiter tried to served the same plate two times more....

We visited this restaurant as part of a family get together. The service was superb and we had a family member who was gluten free. All her needs were well taken care of. She was able to eat the same meals as us. The food was delicious and of a very high standard. The asparagus was the best I have ever had. The quality of the food was superb. The setting was very typical of an old manor house which is what I love. The table service was excellent and wine was topped up regularly and water was also available. The novel idea of soul and desert coming in.little glass jars worked really well. This was our first visit and when we return we will Definitely visit again. Good food and excellent service. Couldn't fault it al all
