Situated on the corner of the Manteling nature park and woods, the Boschhoek is just a stone's throw away from one of Europe's most beautiful beaches. Whether you sit in the grape-vine shade of our terrace, inside the snug café-bar or enjoy the use of our
De terrace of the Boschhoek is always alive, it's open until late at night and has a warm atmosphere. During winter the terrace is heated and in summer grape vines make the roof lush green. The 'forest midget golf' in the back of the place is good fun during summer. Oh and I almost forgot to mention that the food served at the Boschhoek is delicious!

It is very nice place to spend dinner time and have a good meal and good wine or beer. Food is great and delicious, also portions are big with potatoes salads and vegetables. The waiters very helpful and nice. I think it is the best place in this area with fish dishes.

Went here for a full three course meal. Did not have much expectations from a café place like this but we were pleasantly surprised! The waitress was very helpful and certainly knew her job well. The cook came into the dinner place to talk to the guests and asked if everything was good. The food itself was also very good. We had shrimps and forel-fillet-paté as a starter with bread and butter. Main was a meat-stick and really tasty Wild Salmon. Came with French fries and salad. The dessert was a belgian (hot) waffle with cherries, whipped cream and vanilla icecream. They, because it is a café, serve very good beers and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Would defiantly recommend the place. Can't really go wrong here!

Recently newly built beaclub woth big windows to both the beach and the dunes. A nice twerrace all around too.But on the deays we were there and today again (easter sunday) it was crowded and the personnel was too rushy to take the time to take an order or bring the drinks. The place with its wooden construction and triple glass looks good, but when the doors constantly swing open, Indon't see the point in that. They have an excellent beerlist with local beers and always a craft beer on tab.

Ideal stop on a bicycle trip along the coast. Large playground, kids always welcome. Beautiful indoor seating, nice patio. Meals really tasty, espacially the steak and the mossels. Lay back and relax.

De Werf, the runner-up winner of the Misset Horeca Terrace Top 100 in the Netherlands. You can enjoy afforable luxury (with local & pure products) during lunch & diner with the best view of the harbor and the authentic city of Veere.
Very good restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. Price-quality. Maybe they could serve the mussel croquettes a bit nicer, on a plate and with cutlery. Normally it's a tapa and you can also get it as a starter but they serve it to eat with your fingers or toothpicks. The wine is expensive, over 30 euros a bottle.

Atmospheric restaurant, pleasant staff and hearty food. I enjoyed the sole wrapped in thin bacon even though it was a bit overcooked and a very large portion. My wife liked the pork steak; once again, the portion was pretty large. They also offer seating in a pleasant all-weather terrace; a pleasant place to sit during our windy evening.

Even though there were no vegan options and only one vegetarian option, the vegetarian option was veganised for me. The personnel is friendly, the atmosphere is charming and relaxed and it is child-friendly with a playground for the smaller children. The children's menus come with a special surprise which is popular.

I know the Italians don't eat Pizza or Pasta for main course... but the food they serve at La Vita Bella is delicious. We had one plate of sardines between 2 of us. The moment we walked in the door we saw that the portions were more than generous. Our sardines were nicely grilled and served in a bit of olive oil with garlic, peppers and spring onions, accompanied by some bread and garlic butter. We then had a salad (my wife) with prawns and beef, which was very tender and tasty. I had a spaghetti with prawns and salmon in a creamy gorgonzola sauce. A lovely dish. We had coffee's afterwards and my espresso was up to Italian standard, Excellent. The bottle of white Sicilian house wine we had was also excellent, much more flavour than most white house wines. The service was also prompt, polite, knowledgeable and charming. What more can you ask for???
