Arrived in Visp mid-afternoon during our excursion to Switzerland and No. Italy. We walked around the town and looked for a place to eat supper. Since the hotel gave us a complimentary drink and 20% discount for meals at their restaurant, we decided to eat here. Food was above average. Serviice was fair.

Einladendes Restaurant. Freundliches Personal. Der Küchenchef nimmt persönlich die Menubestellungen entgegen. Abwechslungsreiche Angebote, sehr gut präsentiert. Einzig die Weinpreise sind überrissen. z.B. ein Liter offener Pinot Noir kostet Fr. 50.--.!?!

Small cozy restaurant run by 3 Thai women, located 2 blocks up the pedestrian mall from the train station. Open for lunch Monday through Saturday, dinners on Friday and Saturday only. After eating Swiss "meat and potatoes" meals, Swiss Thai is where I go for a refreshing Asian spice fix when in Visp. They offer only a limited menu (therefore the 1/2 star deduction) of 2 dishes, usually a chicken red or green curry, and a noodle dish. They also offer fried spring rolls, potstickers, and chicken satay. Food is tasty, authentic Thai, with the curries having a good level of heat (but not too hot). They offer Singha beer and Lychee, Mango, and Guava drinks to round out the Thai experience. Relatively inexpensive compared to other Swiss dining options, but as others have mentioned, it's cash only. Highly recommended!Thanks for your good ranking. Looks can be deceptive. A modern looking Italian restaurant on a highway hidden among petrol stations and car showrooms, but the food and service were both very good. Easily the best pizza I have had in Visp, the kitchen was open and looked very clean and the staff were very friendly. Best of all they had a great chilli-infused oil. But I had to ask for it and they treated it like an "under-the-counter" special. Lots of smiles all round

We choose the restaurant because it was the best in tripadvisor and it seems a good choice. We ate fondue and rösti and both were as good as in much more expensive places. Custommers were mostly locals and the waitress speaks very little english but a bit better french. The terrace is good and the inside is charming. A place to repeat

Great food. Was here on business, thankfully some of my colleagues are Swiss and translated the wonderful variety of dishes. Try it out but be prepared to pay for the fine dining.

This restaurant is just on the main street between Visp and Brig and definitively worth a stop. Nice terrace, very friendly service and good food.

This restaurant is a very good option from whoever is going to or from Zermatt or Saasfee. Other than the food there is delicious, we had a schnitzel that was fabulous, there is also a very good playground area outside of the kids can play freely.I really do recommend this restaurant.
