In the café or in the big room, a warm welcome is granted! The Caro and the Baptist concoct and serve you delicious dishes of the region, in a pleasant setting where it is good to ask! Throughout the year, you can enjoy fresh and seasonal products, cooked
We had a perfect day with my family a great meal in a separate room with a marvelous meal and wonderful deserts. They were really friendly and we enjoyed our stay event if this was a rainy day.

My trip to the region was full of randomness. My wife and I traveled through Europe by car and went to visit the most remote places in France and one in Switzerland. Passing by the city Morteau we stopped to dine at this restaurant (Chef only one who speaks English) and was very good. We got a real French food, delicious!Good selection of wine. Also has a summer terrace. We still have fond memories of the restaurant and chef! If we again find ourselves there is sure to be dining.Thank you for a nice stay.

Restaurant du Saut-du-Doubs côté suisse à 10 minutes à pied de la célèbre chute de 27m. Accès en bateau au port des Brenets compagnie NLB.
We went there after visiting the waterfall. It was already 14:30 so it wasn't crowded. The service was fast and helpful. The fish was delicious. The scenery was wonderful as it is on the lakeside with views on the boats that come and go every 20 min and to people that go around the lake with paddle boats or canoe. Would definitely suggested it to everyone who visits "le saut-du doubs"

We dined at the cafe for our two day stay at the Inn of the same name. The food was fresh, perfectly prepared, and creative. I particularly appreciated the dairy free options (not so easy to find in Switzerland). The wait staff also gave us excellent and informed advice on wine pairings. This was, all four of us agreed, the best dining we enjoyed in Switzerland.

We had been in France for 3 weeks and about to head to Italy. We stopped in Morteau for 2 days (visiting Switzerland too, which was very close)We had seen this restaurant the night before and had mentioned we could return the following day.The inside is stylish, modern and up market. The staff are polite and professional. We ordered rissoto for entree, this was simply to die for and the ooohs and ahhhs coming from the 3 of us could be heard by other tables! For mains, one of my companions ordered beef tatare (this is raw meat with an egg, just incase you see it on the menu and decide to order it! -yes, not my kind of dish I agree with you!) Part way through the waitress came out with a teaspoon with some of the dish on for my friend to try, we were all very impressed and she said she had never had this, and she has ordered it lots of times.when it came out, it was prepared just how she had requested. For my brother and I we ordered fillet of beef in a red wine sauce, this was equally impressive and tasted devine. We were all rather full, but we decided to order desert (we figured we just had to try as the entree and mains had been so good!) It did not disappoint and was served with the same amount of care and attention as the rest of the meal.I would highly recommend this restaurant. My brother said it was the best meal he had had in France, and he has lived here for 4 years! All in all it was superb and would highly recommended it for a great meal out (although, not cheap)What I was most impressed with was the service and the presentation, being an ex chef I know what goes into a good meal and how hard it is to find good waiting staff. They did not 'hover' over us or look down on us (even when my brother used the wring cutlery!) They were very good at theirjob.Well done, compliments to the chef, kitchen staff and lovely waiters/waitresses. I would definitely recommend this lively place for a fine dining experience.

We came here because we wanted filets de perche, perch fillets, and we knew this particular restaurant served tasty ones. It's a small, simple place located at a sort of campground where vacationers can rent a small cabin-like structure that overlooks the Doubs River and isn't too far from the Saut du Doubs, a popular waterfall in the river. We started with a Croute aux Morilles that was outstanding. Then the sweet little perch fillets (Filets de Perches Meuniere) arrived, sizzling in their scrumptious butter sauce. We ordered a half portion and after the Croute aux Morilles, that was just enough for a satisfying lunch. The restaurant overlooks the Doubs River and on clear days it must be lovely, but we had clouds when we were there. The restaurant has walls of floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors that open to an outdoor play area for children so their parents can sit indoors and keep an eye on their kids playing. The restaurant's menu was quite varied with salads, appetizers, pasta, horse meat, chicken, lamb, Swiss Rosti, beef, fish, frogs legs, shrimp, and cheese dishes. You're sure to find something you like, whether you eat anything or you're a vegetarian or gluten intolerant. After our lunch, we took a hike along the Swiss banks of the Doubs River (it's a bit dangerous in places) to help digest the filling and delicious lunch at the Bellevue. If you have time, it is a lovely hike in the woods.Bon Appétit!

Very good food with fresh and quality ingredients, according to the season. Pleasant atmosphere, sober, with an extraordinary and amazing huge pumpkin as welcoming sign! Italian family who has been living in Switzerland for almost 30 years, also making Swiss recipes (home made "Spätzli"). Excellent pumpkin ravioli as first dish.Little confusion when we paid, but kind reaction of the owner's "Mamma"!

On first view a little run down, but once inside the decoration is charming and meal excellent. Good service, prices correct and a lovely view of the river.

This is a one star restaurant in the Michelin guide that serves modern french cuisine. The service, food and wine list was impressive. The most memorable dish was the lobster starter from the prestige menu - DeÌclinaison de homard du vivier asperges vertes, fleur de caviar, poivre kampot et quinoa bioThe bisque was delicious and rich. The lobster was plump, juicy and perfectly cooked. Amazing dish and definitely has a wow factor.
