Strongly suggest the place for a daily lunch or quick dinner, the quality of the meal is superior! The service also is nice, fast and the place itself is very comfortable, new and modern. Just don't go there while the theatre visitors are having a break. :) So I mostly suggest the place for daily lunch.

It was quite weird experience. We went there with three person. Waitress was helpful and it started quite ok. We ordered 3 different meals. Then she brought us our drinks and meal. Our thoughts were very different. My portion was normal and was really delicious. Other person meal was âjust okâ. And unfortunately one meal was really raw and it was impossible to cut with knife. Then waitress brought our bill. We gave money and waiting that she come back with change. But when she finally returned she did face that she donât notice us anymore. So we got one bad, one average and one delicious meal and paid more than we thought it would be worth. Hello!Thank you for feedback! Sorry to hear that you had experience that didn`t answer expectations. For further improvement can you please let us know about the date when you visited restaurant Ormisson.

The pub Tegelaste Tuba seats 70 persons and invites you for a snack in the centre Viljandi, next to the castle hills.
Visited with a colleague after a long day and just wanted something to eat.Started with a Greek salad, which wasn't very Greek, but still quite good. The waiter the recommended the pork fillet, and we went with this recommendation, and I didn't regret this, especially the sauce was so very good, you could almost swim in it.Thoug the porkfillets where small and thin I still would recommend this dish, and if you're really hungry, just take a starter and a dessert as well, pricing here is vere reasonable. But remember, they do not accept credit cards

Located right beside the castle ruins, the Alda is a convenient place to get a coffee or other drink after a visit to the castle and other places in the park. They provide drinks to go if, like me, you had to race back to get the tour bus.

Very nice place in Viljandi center. Food was tasty and service fast. Portions not very big, not overpriced. If the weather is good you can also sit on open terrace. Definitely recommend this place.

We had three appetizers (chickpea balls, garlic bread and dumplings) and two different salads (goat cheese salad and herring salad). Also gin tonics. They offer only bar service, so itâs no good for a date, but the food was ok - simple and tasty. No wines in the menu although I think they offer wine as well. But! Avoid going upstairs to âpööningâ - it seems the two places are connected. We had the worst 15 minutes there - we asked if we could sit down (they said yes) and then we waited. And waited. No sign that it was bar service only. Then we went up to the bar and the lady there was very unpleasant. We were really looking forward to eat there and spend a fun night but they made us feel like they really didnât want us there â¹ï¸ it was very disappointing. I hope they improve their service. Menu seemed interesting.

You immediately feel like they've been waiting for you. We were welcomed and served by very adorable girls. Since we hadn't made reservation, girls offered us to share a table with nice open fashionable ladies. It was fun. And the food was so tasty! Definitely reccomend!
