This was a great to visit over the years but it had gone down hill! I think it had changed hands and had been unable to get a new chef. I could be wrong. It was the first choice for my family prior to the change. Good selection, service, wine, surroundings and food. I am sure we will visit again and keep our fingers crossed that it goes back to what it was.

We discovered the restaurant a year ago and planned on going back for their signature dish « la potence ». However, when reserving a table we were told that the owner as well as the type of cuisine had changed... after checking the menu online, we decided to give it a try and happily we did! Itâs a little gem, something very different from other restaurants in Nendaz that serve more traditional/typical dishes! The food is delicious, innovative and very tasty. Plus the staff is charming! What a great discovery!

We have been here many times and based on this experience I would have no hesitation in awarding 5***** However, on our last visit, a sunny day, there were clearly too few waiters for the tables outside, service became slow, waiters were hassled, food delayed, customers complained and overall the experience hugely disappointing. It's a shame because usually the food is good and the service efficient. The simple lesson here must be don't take more bookings than you know you can handle.

What a restaurant! I have been here before in my day ski trips to Veysonnaz but it was always in a kind of rush and we end up ordering pizzas. What by the way it is also pretty good. This time we spent the week in the village and we were able to try out much more in the surroundings. Rafaelle and her team (Carlos, Diana, Suzanne, Aurelie and Etoiele) did a great job to accommodate our needs. We try out pizzas, pasta, cheese fondue⦠they were all good⦠but the raclette and the fondue bourguignonne were simply delicious. The prices are completely fair, in the same level of any place around here.

Accessible from the slopes of Veysonnaz which is one of the 4 valleys of the domain. If you are coming from Verbier book for the first round at 12:30 as the way back is quite long. The food is very good, very typical, very local and the view fantastic.I had the deer filet (cerf) that comes with its hot stone and a few sides of vegetables fruits and fries. Excellent dish. My friends opted for the beef filet and beef steak, tomato pasta as well as the unmissable rosti. I rated this place 4 because the service was slow and consequently we nearly missed the last ski lift to Verbier. We begged the guy so he was kind enough to let us in! Great adventure though :-)

We have been visiting La Sitterie for several years now and can honestly say that we have never been disappointed . The chef Jaques is a master in his field, his dishes are a creative and during the years we have been going there we rarely have the same dish twice. The staff are brilliant and make you feel at home and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. We have travelled a lot and eaten in many excellent restaurants but I can honestly say that it's hard to find one that we enjoy eating in as much as this one. It's fairly small, seating about 24 people so it's necessary to book well in advance. In the summer months there is a really pretty garden you can eat in and at night it looks lovely with fairy lights around. This restaurant is well worth a visit.

Our concept is clear and simple: in-house production of traditional and high fermentation beers, in a place especially set up for this purpose. Les BRASSEURSâ focus on love of the brewing industry and craft of traditional products, creating nostalgic tast
A beer brewery type pub/restaurant located in the centre of Sion (where every second house is a vineyard and every third house is a beer brewery). Staple food, well cooked, nicely served, good pizzas, some Valaisin specialties but nothing extraordinary. Clean but not much by way of décor or ambiance. However, the home brewed beer on tap is excellent and very reasonably priced. A "safe" place at which to enjoy a quiet dinner on a business trip.
