A great place and on a wet Tuesday it fitted the bill perfectly. The owner from Brittany delivers a very authentic crepe, with a wide range of savoury and sweet choices. He speaks very good English and was very friendly and helpful, even delivered a round of Mirabelle Eau de Vie's to our table on the house. All dishes were freshly prepared with fresh ingredients and nicely served. There's also a great range of ice creams on offer too. The very modern décor is not my preference but the food and service were very good so no complaints form me.

I dined alone and had a "standard" entrecôte, but it was delicious and the girl working there was friendly and helpful. I'd be happy to go back, should I ever come back to Verdun, which I hope to do someday.

The Brasserie du Parc is a restaurant of traditional cooking (Flammekueches, Mussels, various salads, grills, menu in the evening and at noon) The restaurant is open Monday to Sunday from 11:30am to 2pm and Monday to Saturday from 6:30pm to 9:30pm (10 pm
Clearly popular with locals, but other than the fish and chips, which was good, nothing special, which was a disappointment given the good reviews. I would not want to experience the turkey jambonette again. Staff friendly.

Great place, with a very good menu (starters, meat, fish). Acceptable price range for the type of place. We had a great burger and clams (in French - moules)...really delicious !Choose a table outside, but keep a look in the rooms inside...great decoration.

Two of us started with Moules Marinierre. We got about 6 New Zealand Green lipped mussels cooked very similar to escargot with garlic butter. Delicious and plenty there for starters especially when you mop up the garlic butter with the French bread. The other 2 pals had soup of the day which was vegetable. It actually was potato and courgette and although one pal was a bit dubious about the courgette they both enjoyed the soup very much.I had to eat a traditional rustic French dish and opted for pig's trotters. One pal had them also. Roasted in the oven they came (3) on a wooden platter with a large round of potato which I think was Dauphinoise and green side salad. We both agreed the trotters were cooked to perfection and enjoyable but, of course , boney.I believe the other two had steaks of some sort with a sauce. With drinks which included wine, beers and orange juice the total bill was 115 Euros for four of us.I had assortment of cheese platter but don't recall what my pals had as a sweet. There were no complaints from any of us with regard to the quality and amount of food.It would of been helpful if the menu was multinational as my schoolboy French is terrible. ( Well I was a schoolboy 60yrs ago and the memory is failing) The staff were very friendly and welcoming but didn't speak English. That is no complaint. It is their country after all but a menu in Anglais would have helped.I would happily use this restaurant again as I always eat traditional cuisine wherever I travel and we were not disappointed here.

I organised a group booking in May and feedback from the group was excellent with the general view that La Gargoyle has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with excellent food and attentive staff and offers great value for money. There was a family feel about the restaurant and nothing was too much trouble. Able to accommodate our large party , the local cuisine was excellent and plentiful and was served piping hot to all. If you are visiting the region I would highly recommend the La Gargote. Be aware that the menu is in French and communication for a non-French speaker can be challenging, however, do not let this deter you from visiting this lovely restaurant. From my point of view as the organiser, I liaised with Dominique, who throughout the process was really helpful and a real pleasure to deal with. Thanks so much for catering to our group and should the opportunity arise again we will definitely use La Gargote again. withThank you very much for your message. Merci beaucoup....

Almost my first night in France and we happened upon this restaurant. Atmosphere with photos from WWI was perfect for our trip. Daily specials were numerous and well priced. The white asparagus starter was to die for. My husband had a rare bifsteak, first ever in France, and it was large and cooked perfectly. I tried a recommendation from a seasoned waitress for the guinea hen. I didnât love the meat but the mushroom and squash sauce was terrific. Again big portions. I suspect everything is good here. Locals were present as well as tourists. Service was fast and friendly. I would go again if I find myself in Verdun again.

A small intimate restaurant , probably best to book. The service was OK despite there being only one waiter. The food was very tasty , excellent wine selection. This restaurant promotes itself as serving traditional local cuisine , which , in my opinion , it does brilliantly. I would return & recommend.

The restaurant looks fairly neat, clean, and functionally stylish. It was jam-packed on a Thursday afternoon which is usually an encouraging sign. The Caesar salad had fresh and fine ingredients; virtually a template of a good salad. The main dish of ravioli with spinach & cheese fillings was an original (French-ish) interpretation of the classic. It was a bit watery, but quite enjoyable. The dessert of tiramisu, again with a nice twist, was wonderful.Service was excellent. The bill for two including drinks (prosecco and a half-bottle of wine) came close to 90 EUR.Very good.
