We have visited this restaurant many times and never been disappointed. It is rarely busy when we go, the service is first class and friendly and the food is of the highest quality. For the first time we were accompanied by my two vegetarian sister-in-laws and although the menu didn't have a lot of options, they were offered a wide choice of many things that chef could provide by the lovely lady who was looking after our table.The house wine (12â¬) was so good we actually bought a bottle to take home with us (10â¬)!!All in all a great success and we will definitely return with or without our vegetarians!

We literally fell on this place as we needed to stop on our journey to Malaga. We went with the suggestion of the house, salad, chuleton and green peppers with potatoes.The salad was really great, amazing tuna and dried tuna, (mojama..?). Olives were amazing too.The meat is to die for... melts in the mouth. Gorgeous. Stunning plate of food.We ordered fresh fruit not knowing that you get a complementary ice cream dish aswell.It was not cheap, but it was really good food..

Restaurant is sitiated a few kilometers outside of velez blanco. It is situated within a large old mill that has been sensitively restored and decor is traditional rural andalucian. Food tends to follow the same theme. Lots of local produce used and quality ingredients. Charming owner. No menu del dia and prices are top end in area for lunch.

Just to continue with an earlier review written by Cherie G. She is absolutely correct in all that she has said. We are the other half of the booking and it was my husband's Birthday. Since our unfortunate visit to the restaurant I have sent a private message to Mary, as yet there has been 'no response' I rest my caseThank you for the reinforcement of CherryG's review. What you have failed to point out is my personal message of apology to you the following day before the review by your friend. I haven't seen your said message and I assume it was done via messenger which I am nolonger using due Spam. If you want to send me more DM you can email [email protected]. As people who have eaten here before and now use this incident that I apologised to you on the day, during your meal as well as other people who were affected by the delay I find it difficult to understand what more and what kind of apology you want and how far you are going to continue with this. I hope you have a good summer and lastly my most sincere apologies reiterating what I send to you privately.
