We arrived without prior reservation which turned out not to be a problem. We were served by three waiters who were all polite, professional and patient. My husband and I chose to have the three course lunch menu accompanied by a Classic beer and plain water. The starter was a delicious steamed cod with prawns and spinach in a creamy sauce. The bread was home-baked in a funny triangular form and very nice. Next came two huge slices of veal with potatoes, mushrooms and vegetables. The dessert was a white chocolate roll with vanilla cream, sorbet and fresh strawberries. All three dishes were exquisite and just right in regards to volume and flavours. The waiters left enough time between dishes for us to enjoy the aftertaste and the view from the windows. The rooms were formerly the miller's home, and the decorations are in keeping with the time period. The music playing in the restaurant was a great backdrop to our lunchtime conversation. All in all the lunch wasn't cheap, but we felt that we got very good value, and will definitely go back when we have the chance.

Did not have high expectations. Decided to create a kind of mini-degustation by ordering and sharing off the a la carte. Good wine list. Professional friendly service that was neither intrusive nor stuffy. The were completely unfazed by our approach to sharing dishes. All the dishes were good and a few outstanding that could sit confidently in the highest class restaurant anywhere in the world.Happily easily go back and try other things.Numerous levels of this were equivalent to a 1 Michelin star. Surprising in an otherwise unassuming small city.

Danish classics Restaurant Remouladen in the heart of Vejle serves traditional Danish cuisine of a fine quality often hard to come by. The menu is dedicated to such popular Danish classics as open-faced sandwiches and hearty fare made with fine produce fr
A group of 4 colleagues met for dinner, following a day-long meeting. We were greeted warmly and provided a nice table on the outside deck, overlooking the water and sail boats. The food was fantastic - Mussels in a white wine sauce was tasty. We were provided rolls for dipping. The rib-eye steak was cooked to order (I chose medium-rare) and it was accompanied by hollandase sauce and thick streak fries. Parking can be a challenge, but it is well worth t he visit.

Outside Jelling, after following our auto navigation directions along winding country roads we found this superb eatery. Very much worth the drive through the beautiful Danish countryside. Our brunch was delightful, with many choices of main courses and desserts. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The setting was serene and we wondered if weddings and receptions might be held here. Certainly was beautiful. Worth the drive. We will return should our travels find us in Jelling again.

We were 8 people in our group and we had reservation. It was a colorful looking table that was set out for us. The different types of bread was crispy and fresh, we had several types of special spread so we could make our own sandwiches. I was struck by the delicate looking display of good local food. This is definitely a place to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend the restaurant.

My wife, kid and I visited this restaurant two days ago, the night before we began the travel back home to Finland. By chance, we met the owner outside while browsing the outdoor menu which was in Danish, and he explained some of the dishes what they were made of.We went in and the restaurant wasn't full but it wasn't empty either so we got a nice table right away. The waitresses were kind, helpful and smiling all the time. I ordered a mixed grill dish which had all sorts of meat in it, good amount of vegetables and the best tzatziki I have ever tasted. The dish took some time to prepare because my wife ordered a full menu with starters so they timed my dish with her main course. My kid enjoyed his meal also and got a nice bowl of ice cream, for free! All in all, this was a very good child-friendly experience and I can recommend this place to anyone who fancies some Greek food.

Onkel A is an amazing lunch restaurant in the centre of Vejle. Delicious meals at very reasonable prices. Cozy atmosphere and excellent personal service. We selected their large brunch that is served on a timber board. At DKK 185 this is very good value for money. For sure we will be back

In the center of Vejle - on the walking street area - you find this little cosy restaurant with excellent service, nice atmosphere, and fantastic food.We ordered the beef tenderloin sauteâ with creamy sauce, mushroom, baked roasted potatoes, pea pods and green asparagus- a super choice - could not be better. We had an Amarone that was excellent - we had to chill it 2 degrees down - perfect wine.Dessert was also âsecond to noneâ!! Pancake with different ice and blackberries. A desert wine Piemonte a very good choice. All this at 540 d.kr. per person. Ok - considering the high quality of both food and wine.Absolutely a place that we can highly recommend.

We had the lunch platter with a selection of 7 different small dishes - all incredibly delicious. Lovely fresh focaccia bread to go with it. Going back...
