Fantastic selection of dishes from a range of cuisines.Gambas wok and salmon spring rolls especially delicious.Slightly overpriced but what youâd expect for the area - no different to other restaurants and probably a better quality. Nice ambience.Waitresses were on the whole good, one was especially helpful and friendly, let down by one waiter who was actually rude on more than one occasion, tutting when we asked for milk with the coffee (which we had specified on ordering it).Despite this, we will be going back.Dear guest,Thank you so much for your very good review about your experience in our restaurant.We are so happy to see that you have noted the wide choice of dishes and specially our specialities cooked by our Japanese Chef.You have also enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and the kind service from our waitresses.We would like to apologize for the behavior of the waiter. Went as a group and served quickly and attentively. Servers answered our questions and the food was amazing. Ordered the BOITE CHAUDE mont dâor AOP, sélection de charcuteries, pommes de terre, salade, very big serving and quite good. Two burgers were very good with good sized salad and fries, you can tell the bun was homemade, meat was fresh and cooked as requested. The pizza was huge and really good. This restaurant came highly recommended and was easily able to handle our group of 18 people, We were not disappointed! We ordered individually and everyone loved it. Easily accessed by a short walk from our hotel, taking the outside lift which avoids a large climb and then a short walk to the restaurant.

The restaurant on the mountain (Chalet des 2 Lacs) is good- you travel by ratrack to the mountain, were you can have traditional food like fondue.Limited food choice -to be chosen in advance. Booking is required. But very nice & cozy atmosphere, fun experience with the retrack lift. Thank you for taking the time to leave your review of our restaurant. We are glad that you enjoyed the cosy atmosphere!Evenings at Chalet des 2 Lacs are by reservation only because we must anticipate transport by snowcat or snowmobile. I will start with our bill. 143e for two adults and a child. If you are still here read on. Food is really good . Monkfish dish was fabulous without being mega tasty. Kids burger was out of this world. No idea why but was great. Donât miss the desserts. You donât get a menu. Just kind of pick and mix for a set price. So the food is good and the service was adequate without being the same standard as the food. If I have any grumble it is that bottled water costs 7e. That is robbery.But I did enjoy my visit. Great views too. DJ on the balcony playing cool tunes. Toilets are an adventure.Do visit but donât tell the bank manager.

This restaurant had been there , smaller few years ago, it has grown in space and yet maintained its special taste, and beautiful design. Visited yesterday with my wife.had pumpkin soup and pate as starters and fish stew and beef steak as prime dish.Portions are kind, presentation lovely,Finally lemon pie for desert and macaroon each.the owner a very nice lady honored us with a digestif made from a local savioe flower.a very nice dinnerThank you so much for your return. Our waiter, Tiffany, did a very enthusiastic and professional presentation of the fresh meats available. Her suggestion of an off-the menu flank steak style beef for two was spot on. Also the Syrah wine was an excellent match for the steak. A gorgeous little homely restaurant.Delicious french home cooking, quality ingredients with excellent flavours.Cute little garlic bruschetta as a complimentary mini starter too, and obviously meals are accompanied with delicious home made crusty french bread.Have to mention the lady who owns/runs the restaurant - one of the loveliest people you could meet she really makes a difference to the whole meal, service with a big smile, so helpful and friendly.Absolutely fabulous definitely the best meal we had in val thorens and deserves to be number 1!Book a few days in advance as itâs so popular! They do two sittings per evening,7pm and I think 9pm.Also I noted some reviews say they donât answer their phone - itâs a busy place but we left a message in not very good french and they did call back to confirm details.

We had a late lunch here recently and were lucky enough to sit outside on the terrace in the Sun. Stunning views and cosy blankets were provided too. We chose croziflette and duck salads to share - both delicious together with a couple of bottles of local white wine. Service excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend.
