This restaurant was recommended to us by a few people so we had high expectations, we were especially recommended the steak. Well we were left very disappointed from the moment we arrived. Firstly they do 2 sittings so everybody arrives at the same time, this makes it very busy for the staff, they are very rushed and don't really welcome you just hurriedly show you to your table, not very welcoming and then there was a long wait for a drink whilst they hurried getting everybody sorted and sat down. We waited about 20 mins for a drink. The restaurant is extremely small, our table was so close to the couple next door to us we could hear every word of their conversation, so much so we just ended up talking to each other all night, which was ok but if you were out for a nice quiet meal and wanted to chat to your friend/partner then you could not do it in this restaurant. In fact I could not even get up to visit the toilet because our table was so close we would have had to get the couple next to us to move their table. The food was average - we both had steak and have had much better in other restaurants. Certainly wouldn't bother re-visting if we go back to Val D'Isere, there were much better restaurants in the town.

We had an evening there and were a bit disappointed... the food was a bit over cooked, but most importantly it was super expensive for what it was. We asked for an extra salad with the Fondue (the salad coming with was tiny) since we were two people and they charged us for it.... overall I would recommend going somewhere else for the price.

Operated by the same owners as the similarly run Marmottes on the run down to La Daille, this is a great self-service option for lunchtime. Dishes are varied and reasonably priced and the goulash offers great value for the hungry skier (or boarder). There is plenty of space on the two levels of eating area so large groups can usually be accommodated at all but the busiest moments. Definitely a great lunchtime option in the eastern-most area of Espace Killy.

No visit to Val is complete without a visit to this wonderful family run restaurant.I would like to take it home with me but I guess that's not about to happen.Don't come here for a quick meal; you will wait for your food but the atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. The staff do appreciate your appreciation of the food and them.I'm getting hungry just remembering the duck breast served with a walnut sauce!.

Lovely to sit and watch the skiers. Great lunch in the Fruitier and amusing to watch the young skiers dancing on the tables.Easy to get there in the cable car as a non-skier.Hello hillfieldjp! The food is amazing. There is live music too and a DJ, which is nice. However, it gets a bit too packed sometimes. Our waitress was in a mood and was quite rude, but that did not spoil our overall experience, because the rest of the staff was lovely. Thanks a lot for this comment ! Happy you enjoyed your time !

Food/Garden Experience in Val d'Isère. Great garden style decoration. Open 7/7.
Had dinner here last night - 7pm booking so just starting the evening. Cosy table for two. The dog that some other reviewers mentioned was there initially - quiet and content but the owners came to collect him and he went. The food was French with some alternatives. Good selection of local wines too. An enjoyable meal - would visit again.

Weâd booked this restaurant for one of our family lunches, eleven of us. The whole experience was such a pleasure that we cancelled another restaurant so the we could come back a second time later in the week. Great food, superb wine and good service. Weâll be back - thank you

The restaurant, formerly known as "La Raclette" has definitely found his fine reputation with the new head Olivier Nuret. It opens every evening (except Mondays) from 19:00 and welcomes you, whether you are hotel guests or not, in an authentic and warm at
Interesting menu with a good diversity of local specialties and other diverse choices including fish. Very good tuna tartar, foie gras, planchade (beef, cooked on a hot slate) and Punto de Lomo Iberico Porc. The truffle ham had no truffle taste though and the melted Vacherin cheese wasn't up to expectations. Good deserts and fantastic menu of Chartreuse liquor. Very nice gesture by the restaurant who offered us Genepi for a perfect ending.

A superlative 2* Michelin restaurantWow, what can I say!! An amazing restaurant with exceptional service and an attention to detail that surely canât be beaten?? Iâve never eaten at a 3* Michelin restaurant but canât possibly imagine what extra this place would have to do to gain that extra star.....My partner and I had no trouble booking only 3 days in advance and we had also informed them that we were celebrating my birthday. Greeted immediately and shown to our table, the Sommelier offered a selection of aperitifs, we settled for the Blanc de Blancs vintage champagne, exceptional. We choose the 10 course tasting menu paired with wines for every course. The food, wine and service was simply fantastic. The bill was as expected, no hidden surprises, and there was no service charge routinely added, this was left to our discretion. An absolute "must do" whilst you are in Val, you will not be disappointed. Hello, thank you for having taken time to write us.We thank you for the kindness of your message. Looking forward to seeing again you very soon ! Benoit Vidal and all his team.
