A warm welcome. The food is very good. Prices are reasonable. The chef makes his own pasta and you see it while tasting them. The place is just generous. The service is excellent. They always make sure you have what you need.I like their wine selection.

Housed in the old station building right next to the tracks, the restaurant is lively and spacious too. Enjoyed some fresh oysters and very nice steak and chips here. The staff were helpful and friendly and the service was fast and efficient. It was a cool June day when we visited and so we sat inside however there is ample outside seating too in the main station square.

The food at the restaurant was tasty and service was pretty friendly. When we came I asked could kids get smaller portions with cheaper price, and they said that would happen. We got smaller portions, however The kidâs meals were charged as full. I askel if that was corrected and was told that my credit card canât be refunded. Eventually I was give some cash back, but so few krones, that it must have been a mistake and ended up paying more than was expecting to. So be careful and check what you are charged at.Hello Traveller! Im glad to hear that you liked the food and the service. We are a cash-free Restaurant, And waiting for new card readers that can refund amounts on cards. Our service staff missed to change the price to a kids-price, But she refunded you 40kr for each pasta, In total 80kr. Thats nearly 25% discount for kids meal (this is what we give for smaller portions) So we didn't charge you more than what we should, You're free to email us and speak further about [email protected]

I have been here both for lunch and dinner. Thereâs really nothing special about this place than the place itself which is super cozy. But the food is average tasting food & the price is really overrated. The service is really bad too. Two guys who worked there during lunch were so bad in their attitude that I never returned. They were super nonchalant. The place has a name since long time. Thatâs the only thing to it. Donât waste your money going here. There are other nicer places in Uppsala.

Enjoy sleek styling and culinary experiences at restaurant Picnic in Uppsala. Highlighted by a stunning glass façade, this Radisson Blu Hotel's restaurant and bar offers convenient and enjoyable dining and light snacks for both locals and hotel guests fro
I stayed at the Radisson Blu last month while attending business meetings in the area and ate at Picnic almost every night. I was oftentimes too tired to explore but honestly, I kept coming back for the food. Every dish was absolutely delicious and there were many things I ran out of time to try on the menu. Their breakfasts are incredible too with a spread of meats, cheeses, eggs, sausages, bacon, veggies. You name it, they had it.Hello, Thank you for your nice review! We are so glad to here that you enjoyed your time here at Picnic.Hope that you'll come back again.Best Regards, Maja Teamleader Picnic

Uppsala is buzzing under the September sunshine, it's " Kulturnatten" and the town will lively util the small hours. Sitting in the Churchill Arms enjoying a few beers in a very nice designer and has a very Scottish Irish English mix. By this I mean dark wood, leather, plaid wallpaper, books and pictures. Relaxed yes, intimate yes, friendly yes. Cheers!

Prequel: When not traveling; Iâm meeting with friends because of a Brunch Club weâve set up (#UppsalaBrunchClub) and this time I was responsible for the planning..Since hearing such amazing things about Villa Anna I wondered if they had brunch - which they did not. However - they do offer afternoon tea which is what it sounds like; afternoon tea in an amazing environment and so much goodies it didnât even fit on the table for the Instagram photo!Since itâs an upscale boutique hotel I had an idea theyâd be snotty but oh no! Best Customer Service ever received in Uppsala! Each and everyone is truly an asset for the place and a gem for you as a client! Now all I want to do; is to have their gourmet menu there and spend the night!

A bit of the beaten path close to the Railway station, and Elite Hotel Academia, in an old-fashioned brick-building. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Traditional cousin including fish, meat and veggie alternatives, entrées, main and desserts. An efficient menu and good selection of wines, drinks etc.Perhaps not the same air of surprise and new style as when Saffet Caglar owned the place but the selection of restaurants is much richer today. A safe choice and a classic restaurant. (Probably the nicest restrooms around;-).)

Nice upscale fish restaurant near center of town. Service was prompt and professional. I had smoked salmon for starter and really enjoyed it. Came with fresh horseradish and sour cream. For entree I had the boulibase (not sure how to spell it). The broth was excellent but overall it was too large and I couldn't finish. Generous portion of different seafood. Would definitely return.

New, small, charming and EXCELLENT. The menu is created after the choice of wines and this changes every week. The best whole in the wall there is - and with super cross-country cooking with focus on local an ecological ingredients.
This is fine dining. Carefully selected wines are combined with attractive, well prepared dishes. You have a choice between a three course and a five course menu. Everything tasted delicious and the service was fine. There is ample room between the tables, so you are not disturbed by other companies. Since the restaurant is small, you should book ahead.
