We ate twice in the Lido Restaurant, driving and hour each way....the first time was so good it was worth the journey back to eat there again. The menu is great lots of choice and the food certainly lives up to the menu. Both our meals were excellent fantastic quality and a very good price!!! We would recommend this restaurant as a must if you visit the Istria region.

Heard good things about this restaurant but it did not live up to the expectations. Some (simple) items on the menu were not available, service was unorganized, the place has a lot of sandfleas (or other stinging insects ?) and the quality and quantity of food was plainly not good enough for the money asked. Since when are gnocchi presented as soggy sandwiches ?

Food and service were okay but not more than that. Service was polite. The restaurant was very crowded during peak hours which made it noisy and not too cozy.Okay for one visit but would most probably not come back.

Oh wait! There is something missing! This beautiful place should get at least 6 stars!The atmosphere was very homely, however with beautiful artwork in the newly renovated restaurant. The renovation was done in an innovative and signature style! The reception and service was cordial, so I felt at home immediately!Great cocktails! I had a refreshing gingery tasting drink that I had to reorder!The food was just simply out of this world! I have not eaten such good food for years!Watching the gifted and ingenious chef preparing the beautiful dishes was a treat! Each detail was meticulously and perfectly executed by the chef! The taste was even better! Everything was prepared freshly and with great passion and love! Great usage of spices! Loved the avocado and nectarine salad with fresh figs! What a great combination! The spices made the Aubergine tartar so special! The Portion of the lamb chops was huge! What a beautiful sight! The chops were cooked to perfection and tasted heavenly!The main dish was followed by a Devine dessert: a warm nut tart with homemade ice cream! I hope I can come back soon to enjoy more of this wonderful food! Snjezana and Thomas are a great Team! I wish them all the very best! I came for a good meal and found the best food in years and met friends!

Not the best decision we made. We waited for the food for one and half hour, portions were very small and everything is overpriced. Waitress was friendly, but otherwise not such a great experience.

We where 12 people 6 kids and 6 adults.. once the ordering of food was done the kids went out to enjoyed the attached "zoo" and the adults enjoyed the cozy atmosphere in the restaurant, the service was impeccable and food was fresh and delicious.even the kids meal where og a high standard..Would recommend all to book a table at this place if they are in the neighborhood.

We visit this place for late lunch. When we entered the place was full, but they find us a small free table. Staff is very polite and friendly. The food was nice, specially home made pasta and we also like seafood salad and small stuffed chili with anchovy. They definitely can improve open red wine.

Kaleta is situated in a cozy and picturesque side alley in what is otherwise an overly touristy town. Skip the souvenir stands and cheap plastic trinkets and head straight here for an amazing meal. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is delicious. Pizza from wood burning oven, lamb chops special. Donât miss the wine from Fiore vineyards.
