Tarcal has many wine cellars, surrounding area so much more.This wine area I study more than ten years. Every year twice I travel to Tokaj visit more cellars and even more types of wine taste but in this cellar I always go back. Ilonka neni is the soul of the cellar, very nice lady that every moment is managed and fulfills our many desires and ovner Kalman baci who sometimes sing with us. The desire, they in fact there are not many only two, good wine and good food.I personally prefer halfsweet and sweet wines but do not worry has for every taste. Of course there is a knuckle at the end of the game. Prices are excellent. Go there and enjoy it. Have a nice day!

Well-executed Hungarian cuisine in a fine-dining setting. Stopped for lunch during a tour of Tokaj wineries with the family (wife, early 20's son and daughter). The starting soup courses were all excellent. My daughter and I had a pheasant consomme with a ravioli-like pasta that was rich and full-flavored. My son had the gulyásleves, while my wife had the daily special -- a creme of cauliflower.Our main courses were all very good. My wife and I had roast pike fish; our son had a wild boar dish.The wine list offered many Degenfeld wines by the glass

Once you're in Tokaj, take the time to visit Tarcal and Mád. Percze is a complex 'wine experience centre' in Mád and boasts a decent restaurant. Local ingredients, short menu, carefully crafted meals and second-to-none hospitability. Easy-going yet stylish. Local white wines, remarkable aszú selection, local craft beer (bottled), credit cards are accepted.

Pros: big and fulfilling meals, reactive and nice personel, who paid attention to guests.Just and correct prices to.Cons:The toalet coud be cleaner, but wasn't so bad after all.The chairs and benches at the outside tabeles wars no so confortables.Overall, it was a good experience and for the next time when I travel this reagion, will be my first option for a good meal.

Az étlap elég üres volt, kevés választékkal, az étterem viszont tiszta, rendezett , a kiszolgálás nagyon kedves volt. 1990 Ft-ért egy nagy adag tejszÃnes spagettit ettem rántott hekkfilével. A hekk éppenhogy két kis darab hal volt, a spagetti viszont bÅséges. Ami nem tetszett, hogy az étlap egy nyomtatott A4es papÃr, egyáltalán nem volt hÃvogató. A párom gulyáslevest evett, az sem volt annyira finom, az is 1990 Ft volt egy ksi bográccsal. PozitÃvum, hogy végre egy étterem, ahol nem kell fizetni, ha az ember kér egy pohár csapvizet.

Located near the confluence of the Tisza & Bodrog Rivers, Bonchidai Csarda is a beautifully built rustic restaurant with wonderful river views, comfortable inside and outside seating, efficient service, and delicious Hungarian inspired food. This was our third visit and we look forward to many more.

We just needed somewhere quick to eat. There was a crowd outside when we arrived and thought it would have reasonable food. However the food was poor. Slow service. Starter came after mains. chips served Luke warm. No salad just limp lettuce. Goulash was okay.

This place is totally worth to visit. Located right on the main square of the city, delicious food, vines and great hospitality, really cosy all together.
