The restaurant is located in an alleyway in old town Tarragona, easy to find with Apple/Google maps :)Friendly and efficient service, itâs quite small and intimate inside. Food is reasonably priced and prepared lovingly: we shared a starter of house croquetas (different to traditional, they were round and more crunchy than normal) which were really nice and plentiful. I ordered the filo-burger, as apparently they specialize in burgers. It was good, Iâve had better. My wife ordered the octopus and it was phenomenal: tender and juicy, came with potatoes, peppers and tomatoes, plus a green avocado aioli. Beautifully presented and really yummy. We didnât have dessert.Well worth a try overall.

Located on the coast of Tarracon and surrounded by nature is the restaurant La Caleta. In a cozy and romantic atmosphere, where a market kitchen with excellent thin matter is the protagonist ...
This understated, but highly stylish restaurant has it all. Creative, delicious dishes, with friendly (but not too friendly- this is Europe, not the US!) service, and good local wines at reasonable prices. What more could you want?! Also, while maybe best in the fall and winter, the decor is seasonal and they manage to keep it cool even outside on a hot summer day. If you're anywhere near Tarragona, don't miss this restaurant if you want to treat yourselves to a great meal and experience. Thank you very much for your comment. It is always appreciated any opinion that helps us to improve. And if it is good it makes us want to improve a lot more!Greetings from La Caleta and come back whenever you want to greet us.

Located in the middle of the old part of Tarragona. Paellas and rapas menu. Eco friendly and fresh local fish.
We arrived at 22.45 with a reservation and first of all we were told, that the kitchen was closing so we had to hurry. One of the waitresses cleaned the dirty clothes in front of our faces and laid them on the table to re-use them. Our waiter seemed very stressed and when the food arrived, it wasnât good at all. We ordered the Tapas-Menu and the meat wasnât cooked properly. We payed way too much for the quality of the food and the service wasnât nice as well. Hi. You called over the phone and I told you that the restaurant was full. You asked me to please get you a table. I called another customer and changed the time for you to come. The time was 10:30 PM and you came at 11:05 PM with the kitchen closed. Even so we took care of you. When I ate your food you were laughing at me and the guy who spoke Spanish started to ask me all sorts of things to finally ask for nothing and laugh at me. If you want to be treated with education, the first thing you have to do is be educated. And if you do the favor of giving yourself a table when the restaurant is full, the polite thing is to arrive on time. We also hope that you never return

Local housed in an antique building of the year 1350, with 8 medieval Gothic arches, which traded with an antique ice well, which is still preserved. Traditional Mediterranean cuisine century update with a careful selection of the farm products of Tarrago
Easy to see why this is number 1 in Tarragona. Exceptional food and excellent wine. Chose the tasting menu with matching wine and we were not disappointed. The host was attentive throughout and extremely knowledgeable and informative. For further information please review the photos!

Market cuisine restaurant for all kinds of celebrations, with dishes to share. Ideal for families, with private dining rooms for business meetings and celebrations We have lunch menu, menu and menus for groups. Near the town hall and the old town of Tarra
A visually lovely space. A relaxed yet elegant setting with exposed ancient stonework. The windowless room in a tucked away central location is nicely lit. It was bright yet peaceful - and quiet. The owner were extremely gracious. Toward the end of our meal an apparently new server with little English asked about dessert and misunderstood us. The fortunately happy result was that we were served, but not charged for, two excellent desserts we had admired when served to the table next to ours - instead of the watermelon soup and chocolates that were to have been the last two courses of my companion;s tasting menu. It was a happy accident about which we had no complaint since all the food was wonderful. This restaurant was as good as the several Michelin-starred places at which we have dined - but completely unpretentious. I especially enjoyed the steamed mussels in a slightly curried coconut broth with just the right delicate touch of jalapenos. And the desserts were spectacular.

We read the reviews and decided to make a last minute reservation: just as well as I saw multiple crowds of people turned away, as the place was jammed. Service was super friendly and attentive and when the food came out, you could tell that the chef cares about what he/she puts on a plate. I had the sardine salad (best sardines Iâve ever had: meaty, deboned) and the seafood pasta, which was flavorful and had homemade black spaghetti. My wife had the chicken stuffed with bacon and dates as her main, which was phenomenal. Dessert was also offered and we shared one: also excellent. Overall, for 18 euros per person for a 3 course meal is a great deal. But when the food is so wonderfully prepared and presented so lovingly, itâs a bargain. They also have a great and inexpensive wine list. Must go if youâre in Tarragona

Perfect dinner, We had really good tapas, the menu is not very big but the quality of the food was excellent and not expensive at all. The service was very good, really friendly, speaking English very well. Eating outside in the square, not many tourists, mainly Spanish people. Absolutely a place to recommend.

We had a lovely Birthday lunch for my wife at Barhaus. Prices were resonable and there was a lot to choose from even for vegetarians. Many nice bottles of wine for 11-14 euros and the staff had knowledge about them. We also were treated with a chilled Melon soup as a starter before the starters. I would recomend this to anyone.Lovely staff who spooke good English.

My wife and I ate one of the fixed price menus here on the last night of our holiday and it was memorable. We ate outside as it was a warm night and as course after course arrived we felt more and more enchanted. A lovely setting, fabulous food and faultless service. No hesitation in recommending this superb restaurant.

The poor menu leaves few alternatives - so i ordered a burger. This was the most greasy and disgusting piece of meat I have ever encountered. Served with something like a beastâs gut on top - that gushed even more fat over it, and potatoes on the side. No vegetables at all - just a few cooked onion rings, and no bread. Now a few hours later I can still feel the greasy fat slowly moving itâs way down my intestines. Man that was utterly disgusting!Sorry to tell you that in our restaurant no greasy meat is served, however we take note of your comments to keep improving.
